It's normal, it has a thick sole and is not flexible, which is not good for the child's development. The material is good, the size is good. I can say about the design that it's very fun, I really liked it. I think it will be durable but not compact for a child.

These shoes look ABSOLUTELY adorable. Each shoe has a different character on it. The biggest drawback in my opinion is they don't offer much support and cushion especially for new walkers. The bottom also doesn't have much traction. So while they look cute, they aren't really super functional.
