Very easy to put together, great value, solid wood, but yet light weight. Ver happy with this purchase!!!

3 tier shelf
I was surprised at the solid quality of this piece. Put together myself, challenging... So best with a helper. I also purchased a Walmart 3-shelf bookcase for my office..all particle board. Is cheap looks cheap. But this 3-tier open shelf was $50 (vs $75 for the bookcase) wish I had purchased two! Matches my writing desk. Walmart is doing very well competitively on this stuff. Check it out on-line.

Pleased
I like the entire setup, pre-start the screws prior to putting together will make for a much easier assembly. Plenty sturdy and looks great, will serve me well.

Open concept look and sturdy.
Love this shelf unit. Easy to put together. I like the open look concept. I also have the larger one and looks great in my bedroom.

Not for children
Product is as described, wood used is not first quality, easily mars and finish is adequate to cover the wood but none of it is 1st quality. It is what the prices suggest, adequate. Does the job.

Needs a little more attention to detail.
This is made in Thailand. The wood is sturdy boards that are glued together to make the 11"" width. The shelves and sides are not exactly the same length and width which makes for very small gaps. One of the shelves had a 6 inch gap in the glue where it was joined to the next piece in the built up board. I fills a need, but just.
