excellent product! Looks great, very sturdy, folds up so easy to move. Plenty of room and height of shelves for larger books. The assembly is easy if you use an electric allen wrench or even one on a handle. If you use the allen wrench that comes in the kit--it's a miserable job! Learned that one the hard way when assembling my first one. I bought 4 and am very happy with them.

This bookstand met and exceeded our expectations. The hardwood is solid; it was put together with ease; and it folds for storage and transport beautifully. It easily accommodates an assortment of college textbooks. Other folding bookstands do not offer the top shelf (mantel). I highly recommend this product.

Bought this for my son's (13) room to match his well made bed that came from a good furniture store. I was very impressed with the quality and it looks as though it is part of the furniture line that his bed came from. Went together pretty easy and quick...the tool they give you in the box is cheap and will strip, but we used our own tools and everything was fine. I ordered a second one and the matching desk!

need a drill to install for anyone with arthritis. Otherwise great qualities

This bookshelf is perfect for where we want to put it--in our camper. We wanted something lightweight and foldable, and this works perfectly. There was a little bit of assembly, but not much. I would buy it again!

This was so easy to assemble that my 9 year old put it together! Holds all my children's books nicely and has fairly deep shelves to accommodate those "longer" kids books. Very pleased with this item!

I purchased this item to go with the folding Mission desk I already had to fill out my home office. It holds all my computer components and is an attractive addition to my home. I like the fact that it's easy to fold if needed and is easy to move. I would recommend this product.

Nice to buy something made out of "wood" not some pressboard kind of thing it's wood but it's not! Quality was excellent; easy to assemble and looks nice!

There were two holes partially drilled in an exterior leg that should not have been there. The fingerjoints used to build the board stock was not filled prior to sanding and finishing resulting in unsightly gaps and voids. Wood plugs to cover screws are undersize and will not stay in place. Three spindles are cracked from either inproper mounting or checking. They required gluing and clamping prior to remounting. Recommend that one use soap or other lubricant on the screws before attempting to assemble due to the aggressive threads and under size pilot hole. Allen wrench stripped on second screw.

The product appeared to have arrived in a well packaged in the box. The major problem was that there were extra drill holes in between the slats are on the left fold out. Upon further investigation the rail then began to separate from the horizontal top rail and exposed broken wooden dowels for construction that were never glued to hold it together. I am still waiting for the whole left side that folds out to arrive in the mail. For the price it is not worth it because when the new part arrives I will have to take every blessed piece apart and glue all the non-folding part dowels so it will not fall part again. If I had known I was going to have to do that I would never have bought it. However, I do think once that is completed it will be a study and very attractive piece for furniture.
