Great sturdy shelf
I bought this 2 tier bookshelf for my grandsons! Very easy to put together, holds tons of books, attractive and great price! I was leary of purchasing a piece of furniture after viewing online because of a bad experience in the past, but sure am glad I took a chance, because its perfect for our needs! In fact, I plan to order another for my granddaughters!

Perfect for children's books
I have been looking or a bookshelf like this for a long time. I would rather buy from a store than online, that way I can actually see what I am buying. I am very glad that I ordered this item. Sons have a lot of books and this is perfect. Don't have to worry about books falling over or trying to find heavy book ends to hold them. Shipping was fast. Shelf was easy to put together and very sturdy.

PERFECT CHILD BOOKCASE
My 6 year old granddaughter's many books were EVERYWHERE until I got her this bookcase. The books face out just like at school so she now puts her books back in the case...she is SO proud of her "library"! And easy assembly as well as sturdy.

Well built, but construction tedious
The wood in bookcase is heavy, the screws are heavy duty, and the bookcase is sturdy. The wood surface has a finish coat and the bookcase looks great when put together. One tip: the 4 smaller screws are labeled F on the diagram. The large screws are labeled G. One concern I have is that the screw holes are a little too small. As a result, it's hard work to tighten the screws. I think a few people wouldn't have the strength to tighten 16 screws, unless they really take their time. The little right angle wrench in the kit starts to hurt your hand if you try to assemble the bookcase at one sitting. Overall an excellent product for the money.

Too Narrow... Specs were not correct.
Spec. read that is was 18"" Deep, I'm not sure how they measured that. The box it came in was only 11"" wide. Measurements are actually 30"" high x 24"" wide x 9"" deep. It fits by my P.C. and can hold paperbacks, and small hard cover books with no problem. It is easy to assemble and no tools are required.
