Winsome Wood Milan 2-Shelf Storage Bench, Walnut Finish

This bench is beautiful and solid wood. It is heavy since it is real wood. I am using it at the end of my bed. It is beautiful and matches my antique dresser and bed. It is great quality. I am a woman and put it together easily by myself. Follow the order of the instructions and you won't have any issues. If you don't you will have problems keeping the pieces lined up and steady while assembling it. You will love this bench. It is worth the price for sure!

I bought this for my 11 yo son's bedroom to fit at the end of his Full Size bed. He has a dark Espresso wood furniture set purchased from Haverty's. The set did not come with a matching 'footlocker', so this fits perfectly and matches (with extra room on the floor for 2 Longerberger basket/wastebasket as bookends) quite well with his 'high end' furniture. I didn't want anything 'cheap'- looking, but, didn't want to pay high prices. I searched Pottery Barn, Mayfair, etc. and could not get the right color/size/price/options I wanted. I wanted a seat cushion that would match the blue (other color options avail) in his room and would fit on the top of the bench. I like the top cradle which secures the cushion well. Walmart had all the options AND it was cheaper than the other sites. I believe Mayfair had the same bench for about $30 more. I also bought decorative wood chalk hangs for the basket to label his "stuff" I plan to put in the baskets. PERFECT! AND, my husband did not complain when he assembled it. It was easy for him, whew! Highly recommend.

This bench is great! I wish it came with a cushion but I'm sure I will find one in my travels. My boyfriend put the bench together in no time at all -- He also used glue so it won't come apart. It looks great in my small entryway closet - just the right size! Thanks Walmart!

Excellent storage bench. We needed a bench by our back door for storing shoes, winter gear, etc and this is perfect. It only comes out about 14 inches from the wall, so nice if you don't have a lot of space. The 3 baskets are roomy and nice. The bench looks more expensive than it is.

Very nice bench. Sturdy and attractive. I am using it for a coffee table in front of a sofa. The shelves provide storage for books, magazines, and my laptop with accessories. I put a soft cover on top so we can use it as a foot rest (it is a little high for that but works ok). Since I have the front facing the sofa, I was concerned about the finish on the back.....no worries there, it is quit nice. The bench is light enough that we can move it to another area for use as a extra seating. One word about the assembly instruction: it tells you that it takes two people and it will (unless you have 3 or 4 hands). It is mostly to support pieces while they are being attached. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

When we received this and when we took it out of the carton we found there were no directions for putting it together. We almost panicked. But this was so easy to put together and looked so good when it was done, that we are completely satisfied! Very sturdy and a very attractive piece of furniture!

This bench exceeded my expectations. It's smaller than one might imagine, but for my purposes it was perfect. My other criticism about this product would be the baskets that accompany it. They are cute, but the wicker is rough and could potentially scratch the wood's surface. Other than that, I love it.

This wooden storage bench is nicer than expected. It works great for my family and eliminates shoes laying around our entryway. The baskets are great for kids shoes, umbrellas, and hats and gloves. The shelf is great for adult shoes. Once my kids shoes no longer fit in the baskets - you can remove the baskets and use the shelf for shoes. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews - but for the price - it is a great bench. I took the advice of another reviewer and placed some felt chair pads on the bottom of the baskets to prevent scratching which worked great. I just wish it came with a cushion.

It is very nice shelf. I was surprised to receive so good quality. It is not very big which what we needed. It also easy to assemble.

Unit arrived promptly and was not too difficult to put together. Missing decorative trim on bottom of one side of unit however since this unit is at the end of the bed it was not a deal breaker. It is sturdy and perfect replacement for the footboard at the bottom of queen size bed.
