Strong beautiful red.

CHRIS July 15, 2025

Hmm. Pyrrole Red. This is a new addition to my palette. I expected something similar to the Cadmium red series and indeed superficially that is what I got. However, and to get WooWoo about it, these new reds vibrate in a whole other register and I am at a loss to describe how they look to me. Darker? Richer? Heavier? None of those characteristics are right. Very strong and beautiful. I'm glad I have them though. They mix well with white and/or yellow, but really are different from the vermillion shades as well. Meanwhile W&N mastery with regard to consistency and working/drying time. Excellent stuff.

Valuable for tinting and over painting layers.

CHRIS July 19, 2025

I have been using Mixing White a lot. The formulation is transparent while retaining tinting strength. I have found that full strength Titanium white can push toward chalkiness faster than is useful. Mixing White gives me greater control. Consistency is excellent. Actual colour is clear and crisp. Very useful.

Excellent product

CHRIS May 12, 2025

I purchased this Winsor&Newton product to replace a much older remnant tube of the same colour. The old product is still useable but the new iteration features the reformulated polymer that handles with all the smoothness I have come to expect and dries the exact same colour as when it is wet.

Yes, I would buy this brand every time!

DIANA January 10, 2026

Painting on canvas is my first choice, alluring bright intense colored are my style. I also use for accents on fabrics, mixed with textile medium to sustain through washes. I hand paint fine art on linens bamboo and silk as well.

I am so happy with Windsor and Newton prof. Paynes Grey. I had bought a couple of other brands and was disappointed. Very happy with my purchase

WANDA January 22, 2026

Great product! Jerry's Artarama is the only place I can find the Professional Acrylic paint, and in the large 200ml size

Great brand for transparent layers.

ALLY April 4, 2025

Winsor & Newton acrylics are my favorite paints for subtle works because they're creamy. I do use another brand for density. Yet, I love to layer with W&N.

Am just getting to know Winsor and Newton products. Love how this lightens, very creamy acrylic paint.

Useful Ultramarine shade.

CHRIS July 26, 2025

A useful shade in the ultramarine series. Clear and clean. Usual W&N perfect consistency, working time and non darkening after drying.
