Winter's Bone (DVD)

The dvd arrived without being damaged, later than originally expected but kept me in the loop on when to expect it.

Excellent acting! Very intense movie of one woman's strength beyond all odds.

I love it awesome sauce of a movie :) ♡♡♡

great movie of a 17 yr old who does what she can to keep her family

This was an interesting movie and provided some insght into the life of some of the poor in parts of the South. Interesting moved well played by Jennifer Lawerence

I got it mainly because Jennifer Lawrence is in it. But it is very raw and filmed down in the Ozarks with local people being in the cast. There is no special effects but is a good movie. I am not saying it is for everyone and maybe not for all kids but it is a good movie.

l just did not care for this movie.

The acting was very good, especially the main actor. I wasn't thrilled by the movie although the previews were awesome. That's what hooked me. Hey, I'll just add it to my collection.

The trailers to the movie are about your most exciting parts. I tried soooo hard to keep from falling asleep during this movie. Jennifer Lawrence is a great actress and she did a wonderful job portraying her character but, it was still boring. Only the last 15 minutes of the movie woke me up and that's because I wanted to know how it ended; everything in between was boring. Lets get the story; father is missing, mortgage payments aren't being made. Has to find her father in order to avoid foreclosure and loosing the house. How do you think this will play out? Yeah, finds the father, keeps the house. This movie should have been in the $5.00 bin at Walmart long ago. My suggestion; rent it for $1.99 and save yourself the difference. Don't expect too much excitement.

The movies was very slow!
