Wisdom Panel Essential, Breed Identification & Health Condition Identification, Dog DNA Test Kit

I have gotten this product twice now and I have been pleasantly surprised both times. This is an excellent product and it really gave me the education to be able to train my dogs properly based on their breeds. I was really happy to know that they passed all of their other genetic tests that is done by this product.. One of my dogs was a stray and so it's nice to know what he was. It was really interesting to know that he had 9 different breeds in him and my female that I have has 8 different breeds. But the most part that was the best, they are both mostly border collie! I wasn't surprised when it revealed that my male dog also had pit bull in him. His head gave that away. I have referred this product to a lot of people so I'm hoping that they look into it and buy it. My male is the one mostly white, Kodie, and my female, Trinity, is mostly black.

I adopted my pet from a shelter and wanted to know more about her and really to see if there was any family she had. The results were amazing and I shared them with my vet who was also just as impressed by the amount of information it gave and the accuracy. We adopted a puppy and chose Wisdom Panel to find out more about her. The process was easy to do and we received results rather quickly. Her report seems to be very accurate. We know that her maternal line is Aussie Shepherd yet she looks and acts like a black lab. Her DNA results confirmed the Aussie line and indicates her paternal line is indeed black lab with a little Golden Retriever somewhere! It is fun to learn about her background and also very informative about breed specific traits and health information. We also like the possibility to connect with some of her relatives. We purchased the DNA/Health test for our newest puppy love. Everyone that met her thought she had Doberman/Shepard in her. We were amazed to find out she was 48% Catahoula Leopard Dog/Shepard. My husband had a Catahoula dog when he was younger. We also wanted to see if she currently had any health markers stand out. This was after having 3 dogs end up with different illnesses. While I know it won't catch everything, it gave us peace of mind knowing it didn't flag anything for now. It's also fun to see where she had relatives already as well.

We kind of figured our mixed breed Border Collie had some in him, but we wanted to know just how much. He came back at 42% and a few other breeds which totally explained his behaviors and inclinations. Now we know how to better to provide those things his DNA is expressing.

Our pups breed mix and health data were so informative! Knowing what to look for ahead of time allowed us to switch up her diet to avoid issues in the future. A must have for your fur baby!

Glad to know my poodle mixes breeds and health. I think the health package was more important so my vet knows what to look out for. Def know why she has a funny nose now. She is a Bichpoo!

I knew my doggo was a mix, but I had no idea what. The maltese, yorkie and dachshund were obvious. I figured there was corgi and schnauzer too. But no, the rest was poodle, havanese, shihtzu, chihuahua, beagle, shar pei and even a bit of pit bull. The genetic descriptions describes him perfectly and explains why he looks so much like a schnauzer. And there are no genetic tendencies to ANY of the identified illnesses. I am so glad I had this done for both me and my precious pup.
