I've always wanted to get a meat tenderizer for my kitchen aid. However, I could tell right away after taking it out of the box that I wasn't going to be happy with it. It's not put together well and immediately fell apart as soon as I turned it on. I mean it literally fell apart, I didn't even start using it yet and the screws started popping out and the gears literally fell apart.

I hand tenderize meat using the old mallet method. It is tiring and boring hitting the meat with a mallet. In just a few minutes I can tenderize all the meat I buy to make it more tender. It took about 10 minutes to setup and tenderize 3 pounds of round steak. I passed the steaks through multiple times to make sure they were tender. We had chicken fried steaks and they were tender, not as tender as a cutlet you buy from the store but a lot cheaper. The steaks thin out and expand as you tenderize them. The 2nd steak I put through expanded and caught the bottom cover, pulling it off. (See photos) No problem, just replace and continue. You can only tenderize steaks that are less than an inch thick. Anything bigger and it won't fit through the opening. Also if the meat is too thin it won't do much. I tried chicken breasts, it makes them thinner which is great for things like chicken parmesan It comes with a 2nd set of gears incase the ones that come with the tenderize fails. Clean up is simple, lift off the lid, slide out the cutting blades and wash. The tenderizer itself looked clean with nothing sticking to it. I cleaned it thoroughly with soap and water. All in all it took me longer to clean up then to setup and tenderize 3 pounds of steak. (See photo)

This will come in great use deer season! It's lightweight and easy to assemble to my blender. The price is very affordable. For now using on chicken breasts! It's perfect.

It is easy to use and if you take it apart easy to wash by hand. It says its diswasher safe but I don't have a diswasher. It is fast and does a great job tenderizing the meat. The meat has to be less that an inch wide.

I'm really impressed with this meat tenderizer. It works exactly the way I hoped it would. It makes cheaper cuts of meat noticeably more tender, and the difference is huge —chicken, steaks, pork, even tougher cuts come out softer and cook more evenly. I love that it attaches right to my stand mixer, so I don't have to do any pounding by hand. The build feels solid and well-made, and it runs smoothly without any struggle. Cleaning is super easy, too — the fact that it's fully dishwasher safe is a big win for me. Overall, this has become one of my favorite kitchen tools. Highly recommend!
