[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this knife to try out just for the safety feature it has. Feels very well built also has blade storage. Overall it's a great knife. Getting used to the auto retraction is a little weird but I imagine once I use it a bit it won't be bad at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product, easy to use with good texture and size for gripping and holding in your hand. Quality made and will stand up to everyday wear and tear well. Product is better than others on the market of equal price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an absolutely amazing knife. I can not tell you how many times i have accidently cut my self with old razor knifes. You don't have to worry about that with this knife. The auto retracting works flawlessly and knife is very ergonomic.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife works as well as expected. The quick blade changing feature works very well. If you are in the market for a new knife this is a good option. Although I do prefer a knife that is not spring loaded.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Retractable cutter is an amazing knife. I love the automatic retracting blade. I have been able to make my cuts and set it down without worrying about running my hand down the blade. I can also blindly pick it up with ease. It fits in my hands perfectly and is easy to deploy the blade. I have used it with opening packages to working on school projects with my children. You can open a box and place it your pocket in the same motion. Rpplacing the blade is easy as 1-2-3. YOu are are ble to unlock the blade grab, and pull it out. Push a new one in and move on. So many great features for this knife that it is a must have for your toolbox. Maybe even for the kitchen for all those packages coming for Christmas!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's always a breath of relief to have a utility knife that you don't have to worry about the blade. The switch to keep the blade locked is a little stiff, but I'm sure it will loosen with usage. The onboard storage is convenient and changing the blade is easy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really neat product. The auto retract mechanism is interesting. I don't know if it's necessary, but it definitely adds a dimension of safety. The issue I've had is that every time you lift the knife it retracts and you have to reset. Makes that process a bit difficult. But again, adds a level of safety.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is packaged wonderfully, with easy to understand directions. The problem comes with the operating of the tool. The Crescent Wiss auto retracting utility knife will auto retract during use. The instructions say that the knife should stay engaged while your thumb is on the lever. In the case of the one I have, I can have my thumb on the lever and the blade retracts by it self. Other than that, the knife has a great feel in the hand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first glance, the WKAR2 is a nice looking, well-built utility knife. It feels solid and comfortable in the hand. At that point in my experience with the knife, it gets five stars. But then I went to use it. The issue may be with me; I'm used to a knife staying open until I wanted it to close and using it for more than a single swipe or cut before being done with it. And it IS, after all, an "auto-retracting safety knife". I'm not exactly sure who this would be good for. You push the blade button, as with other similar knives. As soon as you've made your first cut, the blade retracts. Even if your first cut really isn't finished and you lift and slow down the cut a little, the blade retracts. My initial use of the cutter was to cut a piece of sheetrock. So I pushed the blade into the top of the cut and started making a first pass. Halfway through the cut, the blade retracted. This happened a dozen times during the work. So again, this knife may be great for a hobbyist that is making single pass cuts, but it's way to much work for handyman use around the house
these knifes suck I have them at work to cut pulp your better off taking the blade out
