Wizarding World Harry Potter, Hedwig Purse Pet, 30+ Sounds & Reactions

This Hedwig purse was the favorite present a little girl received at her Harry Potter themed birthday party. We gave her some butterbeer Hershey's kisses as well. She was excited that the purse is interactive.

Demetra says the purse is really pretty and fluffy and fun to play with. Freya said theres soo much to do with it and it makes cool noises. Even i was amazed at how it responds to touch and all the stuff it does.

Hedwig, the snowy owl, is their favourite animal in Harry Potter and now they can carry it around with them! It makes sounds with a press of a button while fluttering it's eyes. It can even hold a piece of mail with its beak! They enjoy interacting with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one enjoyed this on every level, she was putting her lip gloss and snacks in it. Having Hedwig carry around notes, sitting and petting it while watching TV. Such a fun and interactive toy and I think being that she has continued to play with it over the course of the week it is likely not to loose its luster, which is a big perk! The only thing that I have for feedback is the the battery pack on the inside is so large due to the moving mechanics of Hedwig that it limits how much the purse can actually carry, the items would need to be very small. I also had to say that Hedwig's sounds were not overly loud and as a parent hearing toys make sounds repetitively can become frustrating especially when your kids are so excited by it and don't want to spoil their fun by having them turn it off, so that was a big plus for me as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I let my 10 year old daughter play with the purse. She easily figured out the different modes and was mildly entertained. She is not a Harry Potter fan but thought the owl was cute. She wishes there was more room for her things inside...the battery pack takes up a lot of room.

Im going to start by getting the few minor negatives out of the way first and then tell you why these didnt matter lol. Adult review vs Child review kinda thing. The box says it makes 30+ sounds but it seemed to make the same 10 sounds to be honest. I Even double checked if I had the switch on demo by accident. I asked my niece if that was disappointing? She replied No I dont care! I still LOVE it! The beak is suppose to be able to hold a letter. Such a cool and creative feature! (This is a feature she was totally excited about.) All though the beak does indeed open and shut tightly, for some odd reason it wouldnt hold a letter. We even tried thinner paper, thicker paper.. but nope. Would not hold, just slipped out immediately. I was a lil disappointed with that but this is coming from an adult..let me tell u, the kids didnt care! They LOVED this toy! When I asked my niece what she thought about the beak not holding anything..she said Its fine! I can put the letter INSIDE the purse. Extremely cute design and well made. Such a cool concept. The strap is sturdy and of good quality. The eyes blinking are fun and magical! The audio was good quality, it was loud enough and clear. The Harry Potter charm was a nice addition. My niece even yelled Wow! Awesome charm! as soon as she noticed it. There are other Purse Pets available (unicorns, cats, different colours and designs) and I happened to see the other Purse Pets in person at a store and OMG soooo cute!!!! Im thinking of buying one for my cousins daughter now! My niece was over the moon excited, she absolutely loved it!! Her brother loved it too and they started fighting over it. So it is definitely a major hit with kids and especially if theyre Harry Potter fans!!! This is a great idea for a great toy and Im sure any kid would love to have this! For example, my niece just turned 9 and my nephew (her brother) is 5 and they BOTH were super excited about this toy and wouldnt stop playing with it. So...boys, girls, different age ranges...any kid would enjoy this. I would definitely buy this as a gift for another child in my family. Especially after seeing how happy and how much fun my niece and nephew had with it.

My five year old absolutely loves it and hasn't taken it off since I gave it to her. I will say there isn't much room inside as the battery pack takes up a bit of space but it's good for my daughter's treasures.
