I think I use it more often than the kids. I did have to replace the batteries once which is fine. I think we may have just used it quite a bit.

The wand is average weight and gives more realistic feel to the kids. Great collectible to add in Harry potter items. One bad thing is that the stuffies wont come fully.

However, it is difficult to get the sound and streamers to work without a pretty hard snap of the wrist. Might be a little difficult for younger kids, but a cool idea of an older Harry Potter fan.
