The best modern day use of chainmail hands down! Stainless steel won't rust unless you try really hard to make it rust. It hangs naturally, flush with the edge of the drain and the sink, so it works on multiple shapes of drains and sinks. It's way better than the solid mesh ones that sell for like $3. It's easier to clean. The best $13 spent in my kitchen so far!

This is the best kitchen sink strainer ever! It "captures" everything and it releases/empties the bits into the trash better than any strainer I've ever had -- making it the CLEANEST %26 easiest to keep clean strainer. No slime; just shine! Ingenious design.

This is the best sink strainer I've ever seen. Not only does it strain, but it is super easy to clean. I never have to stick my fingers in to scoop things out, I just flip it over and shake all of the food particles out. The chain mesh inverts so it helps push out the food particles. It's easy and clean!

The product works as described. Keeps bits of food from going down the drain (we do not have a garbage disposal). Works much better than a regular kitchen sink stopper. Easy to empty.

This is the best food catcher I have ever bought. the lip is very thin, so food cannot easily go underneath the edge. The chain basket works well and is very easy to empty completely. I highly recommend this one.

Water flows freely through this and it catches all the food scraps well. No more having to pull it out to dump while the sink is still draining. Also, it is very easy to empty because it just turns inside out. This has solved a problem for us and I love that!

I was skeptical to buy this because of the price, but after reading the reviews I figured I'd give it a shot. well am I glad I did! I've been buying those crappy strainers from the dollar store etc for from one to three bucks and this just makes them look like paper mache LOL. It's built so well and fits my sink drain much better than the original stopper/ strainer that it came with. My original and replacement strainers didn't keep things from going under their rims and into the drain because they were so light. this is heavy enough that nothing's going to get in from the sides, and the chain link mesh doesn't let anything through besides water. I just love it and can't say enough good things about it. It's a quality item that would look good in anyone's sink.

I have tried many types of stoppers, and most get moldy/mildew, don't fit, or the food gets stuck in them. However, this style is my new favorite - all you do is flip it over and the little chain links dump the food out. I have it on my disposal side of my kitchen sink and it fits perfectly. After a month or so, it looks clean and shiny.

This sink strainer works pretty well, and is easy to tap food out of. My only complaint is that it’s not quite wide enough over my sink drain. We have the standard “insinkerator” flange. The strainer is just small enough that it scoots to the side a bit, which makes it so that there’s a gap at the side for food to sneak through. Since we have a weak garbage disposal, a strainer is very helpful. I’m not unhappy this product, I just wish it fit a little better.
