Replaced two pairs of my old winter boots with Wolverine ones. I like them! Just ordered a second set for work boots and hope they fit just as good as the current pair. I am satisfied and they seem durable and I wanted waterproof too, so a happy camper. Thank you Wolverine for selling a quality product.
I bought these from the Wolverine online store after buying a pair of Wolverines at a physical store. I was skeptical doing this as I like to try boots on before buying. I was very happy when they came and fit perfectly! As always with Wolverine, excellent quality and workmanship.
Very quality made boot. It took a few days to break in. But when they did, it's a comfortable boot. I have terrible feet, and it's hard to find a good boot. I'll be purchasing this one again.
I bought these as a gift for my partner and he loved them , he says they weren't hard to break in when first using them.
I think the quality of the leather is great. I found the cushioning to be very comfortable. Nothing else to add.
This is the 2nd pair of Wolverine's that I have purchased. Two different styles, one is a Dur-Shock with a composite toe and the Carlsbad Although I bought the composite toe 6 months ago because it was a good deal and I knew I would need new work boots for winter, but I have still yet to wear them because they are too wide. They say medium, but I am currently wearing another brand that are EE and they fit way tighter. I recently purchased the Carlsbad which were also classified as medium but are still too wide. When I tied the laces, it pulled each side until they touched. I purchased these on a 50% off deal so I just installed insoles to make them fit better. The boot appears to be a quality boot but just doesn't seem to be compatible with my feet.
Don't like them, didn't realize they were not completely leather boots. For $80 I could've went to Walmart and bought a better boot. Very disappointed.
Very nice boots. My only gripe is there is no boot strap at the rear of the top. Cant be expensive to put one on so I don't understand why there isn't one. Otherwise I am very pleased with the fit and comfort.
I returned these to my local store, Walmart has never credited me, two months now. they keep saying wait 10 days to send a request. I waited, questioned, wait 10 days. the boots had nothing to do with the reviews, just hoping the boot company may want a bad review gone and make Walmart give me my refund.
I've owned Wolverine boots for decades, but my recent purchase of two pairs of Carlsbads has left me really disappointed in Wolverine. The exterior is still great looking, but the insole is actively painful compared to my comfortable (old) Nolans. The Carlsbad has a glued-in insole with outer-arch support, but no inner arch support. This causes my knees to knock together and extreme pain from even sitting while wearing the boots. It's like the insole was put in backward. But since it happened in two different pairs of Carlsbads, I can only assume that's the style now. Unfortunately, there's no easy way of putting in a fresh insole without destroying the interior of the boots. And stacking the two makes the problem even worse. Ultimately, for me, the bizarre design of the insoles - the actual pain they cause - make these guys unwearable. Which is sad because they look and otherwise feel exactly like my old Wolverines.
