These are some of the most comfortable work boots I've ever worn. I was on my feet all day and my feet didn't get tried and they didn't hurt at the end of the day. These are still new so not sure how they hold up over time, but the early returns have been great
Love these boots. I've been wearing Wolverine for years. I started ordering them online from the website because I could get special deals from email and stuff. I subscribed to the email and the contest that comes in the box with the boots. I was actually chosen to participate in a trial, and received a free pair of the boots I had previously purchased, and received a free pair of the new style of them to review. They were as great as all the other Wolverine boots I have owned. DuraShocks stand the test of time I'll wear Wolverine for the rest of my life. They're made well and affordable. I love em
Very comfortable and supportive boot. My last 2 pairs of Wolverine boots had problems with the soles releasing and falling off. Customer service remedy was glue them back on using Gorilla glue. Not surprisingly, that solution didn't work. Decided to give Wolverine one more chance and so far, I'm satisfied. I believe a "name brand" boot should last more than 1 year.
These have provided me with both enough protection and enough comfort to feel confident in my scene shop work. The steel toe is strong enough to protect my feet from the wood I typically work with while also being light weight enough that I can still move freely.
Husband has been buying these boots for 30 years. Only boots that dont slip on a wet or greasy surface. Take only a couple of days to break in. Only problem has been they dont seem to hold up as well as the same boots bought years before. We'll see how these hold up.
I am a long time Wolverine customer. My first time purchasing DuraShocks. The boot was surprisingly affordably priced so I bought two pair. Going to rotate boots out weekly for longevity. 2 weeks into 1 pair, 1 week into the 2nd. Boots are the most comfortable I have worn to date. I have been wearing boots daily for over 10 years. DuraShocks live up to the name. My feet and back thank DuraShocks.
Customer service told me this boot replaced the "Durbin." I hike daily, work a desk job, and work in the dirt on Saturdays. I am wearing these boots to work almost daily (They will also take a good mirror shine if you care...) But for hiking, mud, and dirt I still pull on the old comfortable Durbins. Every indication is that these boots will become just as comfortable when I start wearing them to the outdoors.
Don't care for them much; they have a poor fit, and the soles make me lose my balance and roll my ankles. The raised part of the sole is unstable for me. Sadly, I would return them, but I had to dye them black for work. But hey they are made well and the leather is great.
For the price of these shoes I expect the waterproofing to actually do it's job, however, within in a few hours of working in these in snowy conditions my socks got wet and I wasn't standing in any puddles. The stitching is already coming apart with a month of ever day use too. Absolute garbage quality. I'll be sure never to buy Wolverine shoes again and you shouldn't either. For the price we pay, I EXPECT these shoes to perform quality work, not the garbage that I got for this price.
I've been wearing Wolverines for more than 30 years, generally purchased from TSC. This was the first time I ordered online. I used the same measurements as my old pair, which is 10EW, of Wolverines but on receipt they did not fit the same. I will now switch to Timberline.
