Woman Within Plus Size V-Neck Shaker A-Line Sweater

Love these Shakerknit sweaters I ordered every color and the new colors that come out every year since 2015, they're great dressed up and casual and they make great gifts.

I bought red for the Christmas season. Fit great, longer and gives that great holiday look when worn with jeans or dressing it up with velvet pants. Heavier shaker knit. Great flare. If you carry your weight in stomach and hips go down one size. Plenty of room in bottom swing but not too much fabric. I’ve now just ordered the emerald green. I’m all set for holidays plus Valentine’s Day and St Patrick’s Day ??

I’m in love with this sweater. I agree order a size down. I put leggings on underneath and wear it sort of like a dress in a way. It totally works that way for me, and covers the top of my thighs. No OMG she shouldn’t be wearing leggings stares. I have washed mine without issue, even put it in the dryer with everything else and no issues. I’m also thinking of ordering another one, but a size smaller.

I have several trapeze style tops for summer, so when I saw this same shape offered in a winter sweater I ordered it in the turquoise teal color. It's just as flattering in a winter knit as my summer jersey tops, with a nice fit at the shoulders and bust, flaring out from the waist down to the hem. The V-neck sits well by itself, but this sweater would also look great with a collared shirt underneath. If the price goes down over the next few months, I'll be buying at least one more in a different color.

This is a great sweater. The trapeze gives it room at the bottom, so it kind of flows around you. The emerald green color is fantastic. I may have to buy another color, I like it so much. I got lots of compliments on it the day I wore it to work.

This sweater is super soft and comfortable. I ordered in my normal size and it was much larger than I expected but I like my sweaters large. I like that it is very long.

Over all fit and quality are good, but the sleeves are way to long for a person only 5" tall. Since the sleeves are also wide at the cuff, sliding or rolling them up doesn't work without using "sleeve garters" to keep them up. Still, I bought more colors because they're worth it, and the sleeve garters can be hidden .

I love the style of the sweater, but it was way too big.<br />Next time I'll order it I will have to do a smaller size.

PROS: This sweater is warm and cozy. It is cut well and long enough for those of us with a long torso and big bell and hips. I have them in several colors and all fit the same - so consistent sizing. <br /><br />CONS: It pills very easy. I wash on cold and lay flat to dry (sometimes line dry).... and after just 2 washes these sweater look worn. I have to depill them every wash now. Thankfully once the pills are removed the sweater looks good again. But it is a pain to do every time it is washed.

Great color. Was excited to wear at a Christmas Party. It runs HUGE. I never tried it on because I always wear a 1X. Felt like a sack.
