Really the most comfortable underwire bra ever. I had one of these at least 10 years ago. When I went to shop at storefront stores about 5 years ago all I could find were ones that had 'shaped' cups (all brands). I bought them because you have to wear something but I've felt like Brunhilda wearing them (and they are not comfortable). Now all the underwires in those bras have broken. So I finally went online to see if I could find any maker of a 'normal' bra. Voila- I found my old tried and true Bali underwire. I bought 12. Hope they last forever!
I HATE padding & it is hard to find a comfortable bra with support that is not padded. This one fills the bill. Have not had it very long so don't know how it holds up in the washer (I never put my bras in dryer) but it seems to be well constructed.
I'm actually worn this specific bra and bought it from hanes.com for several years now. I absolutely love the comfort. Unfortunately this last purchase was the wrong size but I kept it hoping I will drop some weight and I've ordered another one on the way, LOL. The underwire does break after a year or so of regular machine washing which is to be expected but I just cut the underwire out after that happened and still use the bra until it basically falls apart. I love Bali passion for comfort.
This is a very comfortable bra with a broad back band and very light and smoothing padding. It looks very natural under your clothing.
Love this bra and I would give it a 10 -- if only it were made in cotton, as one of your old styles was. I think that one was called Cotton Craze or Cotton Crave (style #3850, I believe). But Passion for Comfort is very comfortable for me and I'm happy with my purchase.
My fave bra, but recent purchases seem to use lower quality fabrics. The plastic rings are very sharp and hook and eye support fabric is stiff, even after multiple washings.
This is my favorite bra, I have tried many. This bra fits me perfectly. I am a 38C and have to have underwires but some are so uncomfortable and did into my sides, but this bra doesn't. I only wish I could get it in 100% cotton.
Well designed and made bras. I ordered 4 because I liked the design of a bra I had was an older Bali of very similar design. It is the only underwire that has the wide and substantial paddling over the underwire, which makes it very comfortable and keeps it from riding up. My only complaint is the current Bali sizing. Per Bali's own instructions for measuring and sizing, I should be a 36D, which was the size of the Bali cushioned underwire I already had as well as 3 other Balis in other styles. But that underwire had always seemed a little snug in the band. I have owned dozens of 36D bras from many companies for over 40 years -- it has always been my size. So I ordered 38Ds for this order, figuring your bands just run small. But the 38" band is still snug -- I have to wear it on the first set of hooks because it is too tight on the second or third. The problem with this is that this leaves the cups a little slack on top and I get wrinkles in the upper outside area of the cups no matter how I adjust the straps. Maybe a 38C or even 40C would fit better but that would be far outside what my measurements indicate by your size charts. I'm not overweight and my breasts are still firm as they were in my 20s and 30s (I can even go bra-less around the house). And the older Bali 36Ds I have still fit well but are wearing out. So this is rather frustrating. I'm keeping the 4 bras, as they are reasonably comfortable, but I won't be able to wear them under knits because of the wrinkles which is a disappointment. I have some removable molded cup liners from other bras and may have to insert them to smooth them out for wear with more revealing tops.
I was really hoping that this bra would be wonderful. It was not. The underwires stuck out on both sides so badly that I could not wear it without my arms getting severely poked. Unfortunately, I took the tags off before trying on. I definitely do not recommend this bra.
Buying direct from Bali is definitely worth it for the significant discount. I went to a retail store to try on the exact bra model for sizing purposes and ordered 6 bras (all the exact same model) in the size that I tried on at the store. When they arrived, I tried one on and it fit great. So I removed the tags, washed them and put them away. As I worked my way through the rotation of the 6 I noticed they all fit significantly different. I then inspected them all side by side and they are all different lengths for the circumference around the chest. And, it isnʻt just a little different; there is actually about 1.5" difference between the longest and shortest bras - again, all of these bras are the same model and are labeled the exact same size. So, unfortunately, they have poor quality control. Since I removed tags and washed them, I donʻt think I can return them at this point.
