Women's Heavyweight Parka Jacket With Detachable Hood

I bought this coat, knowing it would be too big, so I could wear a sweatshirt under it when I take my doggie outside. I never thought it would be as warm as it is or as well made! The zipper is so sturdy and it fits just as I expected it to. Yesterday I discovered that the hood has drawstrings to secure it so it doesn't fall down! Here's the best part…the original price tag was marked as $215 and I purchased it for under $70! But the coat - you won't be sorry!

What I got was NAVY Women's Heavyweight Parka Jacket With Detachable Hood. Perfect length. Just past the buttocks, but not so long you have to hitch it up to drive. It is WATERPROOF. Didn't notice that! Color is a bit darker than photo, but perfect. Tons of pockets, even inside, and the zipper was perfect, looked pretty sturdy. I doubt if I will use the zipper, it has an over flap to keep out wind, and snaps. The size as an XL is actually bigger than my size, but fit like a glove. I will be wearing huge sweatshirts under it so there is lots of room. Sleeve is adjustable so you can close it down over your gloves. Another thing I like is the arms are padded also. It feels like it will be very warm, even in Cleveland, Ohio winters. I do recommend getting one size up from your regular. The tag on it said $215.00 so I am pretty happy!!

I am 5'9', 180 lbs, and a 36DDD. I purchased a large originally, and it was too big so I returned it for a medium. Overall, for the price, this coat is very nice. I live in Michigan and temps can be brutal and it is a solid warm coat. I wore a long sleeve cotton shirt underneath the first night whem the temp was 30° and it did a lovely job of keeping me warm. It falls mid thigh on me. The sleeves could use an extra inch ( I have long arms) but it doesnt bother me. The cons: zipper seems cheap, thankfully there are also snap closures on the panel over the zipper. The neck, when buttoned felt snug but it did not bother me. Overall very happy.

Ordered this coat on Sunday and it arrived on Friday. Living in the Northeast I need a coat that not only provides warmth but allows me to move freely while wearing layers. I typically wear a size large but ordered an extra-large due to wearing layers. I am not disappointed. The hood has an adjustable strap to help keep it in place while wearing it. I would recommend this coat.

This jacket fits me perfect an i love it i was happy when i try it on i love the way it fits me.This jacket says just like the picture.Im 5'3 tall average built an i weight 160 to 170 pounds an i order 3XL and it fits perfect.The jacket hoodie comes of so do the fur if it rains an you dont wana get it wet you can take off the fur. Maybe this message will help you get the right size.Always order a bigger size when ordering from a different company.

Great jacket except for the button closure. Snaps would be much better.

This coat is super cute and very warm. I ordered the long olive green with detachable hood. However, only gave it 4 stars because I have returned 2 for a smaller size. I am a size medium 6/8 normally. I am 5'10” and 168lbs. I originally ordered a large in order to wear big sweaters underneath and not feel super tight. It was huge! Immediately returned for medium. Medium is also very big and wayyy too much room even with a bulky sweater. I have returned and now ordering a small. Let's hope this one works cuz I seriously love the coat.

I like the weight of the coat I believe it will be a very warm coat for the extra cold days, however the sizes run small because I normally wear a XL for some reason the suggested size when I ordered said I should fit a XXXL so for laughs and giggles I ordered the suggested size and to my surprise the XXXL did not fit it was to tight I could close the coat however I can not fit a sweater under the coat

Im very upset i ordered the black color coat and i received a olive green coat

The sizing is super off on this. I ordered my regular size and my size according to their chart. This is my size I am in all my clothes and have been in all my winter coats. When the chart verified it should be my size I was secure in making that choice because I usually like to have room to have sweaters or other layers underneath the jacket (we live in the frozen tundra lol). However, upon receiving the jacket I was disappointed by the size. I was able to get the jacket on with a normal shirt underneath, but the arms were snug and there would be NO room for any layers underneath. I also was not able to get this anywhere close to being able to zip it shut. I couldn't even get the jacket itself to close enough to attempt the zipper part. It was SUPER disheartening because I was so stinking excited for this coat and other than the sizing issues it looked and felt really great coming out of the box. It felt heavy duty, well made and looked amazing! I obviously did not get to test it against the elements so I can't speak to how it would handle the cold or hold up once being worn daily. It's a super cute coat, I just recommend sizing up, especially if you have any type of curves at all.
