This bread tastes really good this was my first time buying Wonder bread I'm glad that I bought it it was really fresh and the bread was soft and I love the colorful cute packaging it's really good for you it's nice to have with the sandwich of course you need bread a grilled cheese taste good with it and I love that it's calcium fortified enriched bread and only 5 g of sugar which is amazing it's a good source of vitamin d and a good source of folate I will buy this again
This is a pretty basic, classic white bread with a very soft texture and a mild, classic flavor. The slices are evenly cut and feel like a good middle ground, not too thick or too thin, and the loaf comes with a generous number of pieces. The softness stands out right away. It works well for things like peanut butter and jelly, grilled cheese, toast, or cinnamon sugar toast, where spreads or melted ingredients complement the texture. The plain flavor also makes it easy to pair with different combinations depending on what you’re craving. For sandwiches with deli meat, it can feel a bit light. When I add vegetables or condiments, it tends to get soggy if it sits too long, especially in the fridge. For something more structured or filling, I usually prefer a slightly thicker, higher quality bread. It keeps fresh longer than some other breads and stores well in the fridge or freezer, and the packaging is easy to reseal and maintain freshness. Overall, it's a pretty basic, standard white bread but it has a good taste and feels like a pretty decent value for the cost when compared to other classic white breads from other brands.
I’ve learned that the Great Value brand has no difference than the other brands. Also the shoppers that shop for the items on orders to be delivered or picked up do such a great job of getting fresh items sometimes better than if you did your own shopping. 🛒
It’s white bread. It has a brownish color crust. (We have to remove the crust) The bread is sliced between 1/2 an inch to 3/4 of an inch randomly. It is rounded at the top. The ends are all crusted from top to bottom. The center is white. It’s called Classic White. The loaf of bread comes in a clear plastic bag with red, white, blue and yellow design. There is a “best if used by” date stamp in small black dots located at the top close to the white plastic twist tie. The twist tie has a thin metal wire running the entire length. These can be recycled and used for other things. There are Nutrition Facts printed on the side of the bag. Also a bar code on the bottom convenient for cashiers, self checkouts or scan with phone. I gave this bread a 4 star review because I like grilled cheese sandwiches and this bread is perfect for them.
know your colors on your bread tags so you can get fresh bread the bread I bought I believe it was over 5 days old or it was shipped to me but it's a great brand just beware of stale bread thank you
The quality of Wonder bread sliced bread products (Hawaiian and regular) seemed to degrade. I have tried a few of their products and the bread may taste like water and its texture can seem mush at times. One bread bag did not toast well. The bread purchased was store-stocked breads (sold by Walmart). Wonder bread always looks appetizing and it has an appealing bag design and colors. There is a slightly sweet taste to Wonder bread.
This bread has glyphosate in it, which is the same ingredient in round up pesticide!! The only bread that’s safe to buy that has been tested and has no glyphosate is Sara Lee artisan white bread or Pepperidge farm Farmhouse hearty white
Don't know if it was over baked but I've never had Wonder Bread like this. Crust dry and about an inch in from crust all the way around tan color. Bread was dry. Nothing like the Wonder Bread I've bought in the past. Not past use or sell by date. Will not purchase again
I don't understand what's wrong with Brad these days. It goes bad even before expiration date. When I got this bread, it was damp and within a few days it was unusable thrown in the trash. not just wonder bread. It seems to be all bread these days.
