These buns are the perfect match for philly sandwiches they hold the meat, peppers and chesses so well and they cut well for those little hands ✋️ 😋 👌 🙌 👍 👏 thanks for helping me give them this experience 😋 👌
These hoagie buns make great Philly steak sandwiches! Sautee some onions and green peppers, throw some mozzarella cheese on the sandwich and you are good to go. Yum Yum Also they have a good texture %26 taste.
These Wonder Bread Steak Rolls are always a hit in our house. We really appreciate how soft these buns are, but they still hold up pretty well when we pile them high with meat, cheese, and toppings. We love using them for homemade Philly cheese steaks because they don't fall apart easily like some other sub rolls do. They're soft without being too flimsy, and the texture just works perfectly with warm, cheesy sandwiches. They're also a great size, so you can really load them up and still actually hold the sandwich without everything sliding out everywhere (which is a big win in this house). Fresh, fluffy, and very easy to work with. Definitely one we keep buying over and over again,
You can definitely wonder why these steak rolls are so fluffy light and soft, but baby use these for any philly steak and you definitely wont wonder why you did.
The buns I ordered on Feb 20 had expired Feb 11 and had mold on them. I’m not realizing this until Feb 23 when we were planning on having them.
We opened bread same day it was bought, which was a week before the expiration date and it already had a sour smell and there was mold on several buns.
So much sugar in them they almost tasted like donuts and the intense preservatives made my mouth sore after eating just half of one. Awful. Disappointing.
rolls arrived not looking like ad nice square package. mostly round and rolls no longer have tops on but all mixed up. looked like they went thru compacter. Wonder bread needs to find out from Philly what steak sandwich roll is these arre more like hot dog type roll.
If I could give 1 star I would. Got these delivered through the Walmart grocery delivery service.. why are they all completely molded. The entire bag is covered in green and white mold spores. I have an autistic toddler that plays in the pantry w the food items and my wife is pregnant. This is completely unacceptable. Then to get a return or any kind of contact w anyone I need to come into the store??? When I pay for a delivery fee and tip. I need to go out of my way and waste more time and money?? I’m disgusted and disrespected. How was this still on the shelf? Why did the shopper grab it and actually deliver this to me? Ridiculous I get warm meats and seafood at times rotten produce bad enough everything is always out of stock once the shoppers start shopping but on the site it shows available. This is becoming an inconvenience more than a convenience at this point
It should be a crime to call these Philly cheese steal rolls. They are pre cut, horizontal. You can’t stuff these rolls. Might be good for a nice turkey sandwich but not to stuff shredded beef and all the fixins in. Would not recommend if trying to use these to “stuff” a sandwich!
