its packaged the same way as tastykake. in a paper carton/tray sealed in a bag inside the box. tastes very similar. except the main difference is you can actually buy this one from walmart.com vs tastykake 3rd party sellers. so for this actually being able to be shipped,l is a big plus for me. i decide my snacks based on whether they can be shipped or not. tastes just as good and almost reminds me of mrs bairds cinnamon rolls that got discontinued all thise years ago. will definitely be buying regularly now.
These cinnamon rolls are soft, sticky, and deliciously gooey. They've got a generous amount of cinnamon spread on them, which doesn't taste exactly like natural cinnamon or artificial cinnamon. I loved the sticky icing on top. It made the rolls so sweet, maybe too sweet for some. I enjoyed them, though. Nothing really blew me out of the water, but I will definitely buy these again. I'll enjoy them as a late night guilty pleasure snack, as well as use them as filling and additives to my baking.
I'm still looking for a decent cinnamon roll. These were small. They did have the Wonder companies' fluffy bread or cake texture and a good cinnamon taste, but the glaze was cheap and awful. They should have used cream cheese icing. The "rolls" weren't individually wrapped. I was disappointed.
The item had to be shipped to me, it was not delivered from the store. 1) It took a while to get. 2) Item was dry 3) breading had stuck to the paper 4) most of icing had melted off in paper. If picking up from store would probably be a lot better, but shipping I do not recommend.
Had high expectations for these as they are hard to find, Hostess made the original sweet roll and they made them in Cherry and Cinnamon. Those were delicious. These on the other hand were way too soft and tasted hardly tasted any cinnamon. Original ones would get hard after a few days, not these they were still soft 3 weeks after I bought them, tells me how much garbage preservatives are in them. Sure do miss the ol' days.
I loved these as a kid, and thought I would try them now as an adult. Either my memory is distorted or the ingredients used today are definitely not the same. These tasted “gummy” and tasted as-if they were raw dough. I'm sure plenty of people love these, but they aren't for me.
So the cinnamon rolls were very hard to remove from the paper that they were cooked in they should have sprayed them with some pounds because most of the bottom of the cinnamon roll was still stuck to the bread so much so that my dog wanted to eat the bread because he thought it was still cinnamon rolls the paper pretty much disintegrated
I was looking forward to trying these out but, unfortunately, was unable to as the expiration date on the rolls was way before the time I received them - Not able to try. Can't even say they looked good as the icing had already begun changing color. This would certainly be the store's/vendor's fault as they should be keeping items rotated and discarding items or returning to vendors for refund. For this reason, I will not be ordering again as I do not want to take this chance again.
The Expiration Date . This item is Expired two or 3 Months ago from the date I received it just out of date and old. Did not taste or look good. very disappointed wasting my money on this. I would give it a 0 star rating if I can . The texture was poor.
these are really really bad, I would not recommend them. they have no flavor tasted dried out, definitely not made by wounder there. that's for sure somebody else makes it for them, I don't know why the one review thinks. this is really good but this is really bad. I ate four and threw the other two out was not worth my time,
