These are great for any baby and will last them through growth spurts, I don't break the back running through socks but they do get linty fast but other than that I like them.

I bought the 6/18 months and they are already too small for my normal sized 7 month old. They shrunk after washing and drying and I always wash on cold and tumble dry low. I would size up to make them last longer. Bit tight on the ankle.
