I got red because it is easiest to see in the water and at the water park. So parents- please listen- get bright colors. Not gray or blue or white. You want to be able to see a child if they're drowning. Anyway, the quality is good and the fit is on par with sizing. Has worked really well so far.

I have a little girl that I like to keep covered during pool time with rash guards and "boys" swim shorts so I was THRILLED to find this pink one in the boy's section. These work great and the price is difficult to beat.

Great color! Can easily find my kid with this swim shirt on. Quality of shirt is just okay. It did get some pulls on it after the first wear.

Fit is great and will work well for summer, can't even get consignment for these prices and quality.

My son is on the husky side and the swim shirt fit him good. Sizing chart is accurate and yes I would recommend this item

Only reason I didn't rate 5 stars, the one I received has a snag in the fabric, an inch or two in length, horizontally across the front midsection. Somewhat noticeable on a size medium/8 little boys shirt, but I doubt anyone is looking that close. I bought the black color, figure it would match most any swim trunks. It was on clearance for 3 - 4 bucks, intended as summer play or swimwear, so I'm ok with it for the price, and know it's bound to get worn and snagged some more, and outgrown in one summer... Otherwise, quality seems very nice, good weight, length, feels like comfy stretchy swim fabric that is not see through at all! It has finished hems around the bottom, arms, and neck, and I didn't notice any pulled or loose threads, fairly common in my experience with clearance Wal-Mart clothing. Still, doesn't bother me much, unless it's a large torn seam or something obvious... Anyhow, I'm aware this would not be the typical experience for others, maybe buying in-store in future seasons, or other pieces in this swimwear line, just thought to note it for those like myself catching end of season markdowns, or possibly buying a size up for next year while it's discounted... If you're gifting, or more particular about these things, you might take a closer look and exchange, if necessary, while you can, before putting away or intending them for next seasons use... Kids grow so fast, I find that Walmart has some of the best bargains, especially season-end clearance. So, even with slight imperfections, I find it a good value, good quality, and would recommend to others, just take a closer look and be mindful of return and exchange windows. I'm happy with the purchase overall. These would be great swim/ active wear tops for girls as well. I wish they offered these for ladies with a sports bra style insert or something similar, bc I do love the protection offered by a rash guard, just seemed odd wearing nothing underneath or layering over another swim bikini top.

For the price this shirt is o.k. as it will serve its purpose. Ordering up as others have said worked out and made the fit acceptable. Usually a size 14, I ordered the largest size 18 for my 12-year-old, 105lb. boy.

Reading other reviews I sized up. The rashguard has a boxy shape so if you're on the taller side it may not fit right. The material is super soft. My boys like their shirts.

It is a good quality swim top at this price, and I recommend it. But the top runs wide and short. I also don't think the top is quick dry since it takes longer time than others to dry.

I will not recommend this product due to the delivery of the product. Walmart delivered the product in a Walmart bag not in a package, envelope, or box. The Walmart bag with the product was not sealed or taped, and it left sitting outside my apartment door for anyone to walk by and take it.
