Stale upon arrival. Find some closer to home.
Stale. Incredibly stale. Shipping was long and the package was unprotected, so the Stroopwafels were pretty pulverised on the edges.The flavor hints at it having probably been good when fresh, but I guess I will never know, because these were certainly NOT FRESH and I won't be purchasing again. I should have returned them, but didn't want to deal with the hassle, so I took the $$ hit. Finally whizzed them in a food chopper and sprinkled on ice cream because I so hate to waste food. Ate it, but wasn't the wonderful coffee warmed Stroopwafel experience I had anticipated. Tried to give it 2 stars, but really didn't want anyone to think it deserved 2 stars. These have been dubbed “Disappointment cookies” in the fam.
