Very nice journal, soft leather, and nice paper. I wish this could open 360° but I think this is a limitation of the 6-ring binder design and not this journal itself.

First off, this binder is leather…split grain leather. You should google and read about it so you know what you're getting. Overall it's a pretty nice little journaling/note taking setup. The cover looks nice, the binder mechanism is robust, I don't foresee any issues with it. It comes with nice dot grid paper and subject dividers, nice that it came with these. The pen writes very boldly and smooth, a very pleasing blue ink. If you need a writing setup like this, it isn't bad, it'll fulfill your needs, though there is better out there.
