great for extra length to an outlet
I got several of these for my husband for a project he was doing that required longer cords for some lights. They worked great. The plugs fit in the extension cord securely and gave him the extra length he needed.

Excellent cord at a good price
This extension cord is of high quality, and I feel very safe using it. Having experienced a home fire caused by an electrical cord that was faulty, I would encourage all of you to spend the extra few dollars and get quality cords. This product fits that mold and for safety reasons I do recommend this product. Spend a little more and be safe!

Stop putting that plastic band on cord.
Information tag applied to cord with a tight hard plastic band, and after you cut it off, it leaves the cord looking scraped.

Very basic and limited surge protection
This search protector only protects between neutral and hot. It has a clamping voltage of 500 V. Which is not all that great for a surge protector. It's a very basic unit!!
