light sensor is not compatible with lithonia pole light - similar to model number LIH1256. sensor too wide to fit inside metal housing; and sensor hole is too big to fit into lithonia light housing.

Great for Powerhouses
I am disabled and live in a trailer park. When I am not out looking for relics, I help do things for the management. The trailer park has 11 powerhouse pedestals, which house water, cable, phone (landline), and electrical connections, as well as a light. All the photocells hadn't been replaced in years, and were staying on 24-7. I replaced all 11 of them with this item and now all of them come on 'only' at night like they are suppose to. I highly recommend this item!

Easy to install. Black to power; Red to light; White to neutral. Does not come with instructions. Works and the price is right.

Too early to tell if these photocells will work properly. They were received and just installed a week ago. So far, so good.

It works with modifications to get it to fit.
This item will probably not fit most outdoor pole lights without major modifications to the pole. It would be nice if they provided adapters to make it "universal".
