WORX 8V Impact Screwdriver

I've owned and tossed many portable drills and screw guns away because many companies follow the same model. I was surprised when I received this gun and used it that the design was different from others and this made it more convenient for me to use. The feature that blew me away was the reverse was in the trigger not an inconvenient button on the side, next was you can adjust the grip to the job needs. Also weight has become important issue because of age and the fact I enjoy being a DYI'er and want to keep going.

I had a big job coming up replacing all our window coverings, so although I already had the 20v Impact Driver I thought the compact 8v would come in handy. Before that job I had to put together some resin chairs that were a challenge. There was a big caution not to use too much force, and not to drill pilot holes. There were also some tight spaces. So, I picked up the 8v Impact Fordedriver and never looked back. The torque was just right for this job and the subsequent window covering job as well. I stopped checking the screws because they were just right. This job could not have been done by hand, or a larger more powerful tool without risking stripping out the holes. I have not had one fastening failure so far. Thanks Worx for a great tool. and I have not found the battery limit yet.

I own many Worx tools so of course I wanted this driver for everyday repairs around the house. This has lots of power to drive screws into studs time after time. I installed a closet organizer in his and hers closets and this did the job on a single charge for both.

I made this purchase for the light weight and flexible handle positioning. When it arrived, fully charged, I so surprised at the power of the tool which fits my needs around the house tightening everything screwed.

Small, lightweight and powerful, easy even for my wife to use. A great addition to my tool box for quick home repairs and small projects . It would be even better if it incorporated a variable speed switch.

This is another Worx tool is as good as all the others I own. This has plenty of power.

I love it! Long lasting battery and excellent to work with such power in a small tool.

The couple of times I've used it I would say it's pretty good. I wish it had a power switch that worked like my drill but this only has two speeds forward/reverse. It did drive screws into pre-drilled hole just fine.

This driver has power to spare. It would be nice if the power was a little more variable. It yanked those screws out of the wood!
