Worx WR310.1 Landroid Vision Cloud 2WD Robotic Lawn Mower (¼ Acre)

This mower is awesome! Its a game changer compared the legacy Landroids. I bought my first Landroid WR155 almost exactly 5 yrs to the day for my back yard. A year later, I got a 2nd one for the front yard. I was so impressed with them at the time we named them Stud and Bud. Now that I have the new WR320.1, it puts the old ones to shame, it's Stud 2.0! It's better on all fronts. It mows more lawn in less time because the cutting disc is bigger, it moves faster, and mowing in parallel lines instead of the random pattern is more efficient. Stud 2.0 replaced both mowers and mows the whole yard in half the time plus it doesn't miss a randome patch! My back yard is about 8500 sq ft, Farley square on minimal obstacles the mower finishes in 7 hrs with 2 charge breaks. A very cool thing with this mower is being able to adjust the mowing height from the app in 0.2" increments. Another reason to like this mower is it doesn't track a wire so is not going to have the wear pattern and rutting issues of the legacy mowers. Setting up the mower was straight forward and quick. The auto mapping works really good around shrubs and hardscapes. The manual mapping was as easy as it was fun steering the mower with the app. You will probably want to add the light as it doesn't like to move much into dusk without it.

I honestly didn't think it was possible to improve on the original, but this version performs even better. The biggest upgrade by far is the yard mapping—no more boundary wires! I used the app to manually map and zone my yard, and the process was incredibly easy. Saying goodbye to wires alone made the upgrade worth it. As a bonus, I even mapped my neighbor's yard for him. The process was so simple that it only took a little extra time, and he's been extremely grateful ever since. It's nice knowing we're both spending less time mowing and more time enjoying our weekends. Once the mapping was complete, it was completely hands-free. Now I can sit back and enjoy another mowing season without spending time—or sweating—in the yard. The mower takes care of it all for me. I definitely recommend this newer wire-free version. The technology works great, setup is simple, and the price is reasonable for everything you get. If you're on the fence about upgrading from an older model or you're tired of dealing with boundary wires, this mower is absolutely worth a look.

The obstacle avoidance is really good and the RTK is dead accurate. I wish the supported slope rating was higher, but it does what it says it will do with ease.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be happier with my experience with the WORX - Landroid Vision Cloud 1/2 Acre. The product came perfectly packaged and the instruction guides allowed for a seamless setup. There is no antenna to set up this mower which made the install quick and easy. I was able to spend very minimal time and effort to complete the entire process from unboxing to first use. The quality of the mower, base, and charging station are top notch. There are a couple of mapping options to get started, each of which were simple to use. The automapping feature was able to quickly scan and read my entire back yard in minutes and using the app to help navigate is super simple. I love the ability to choose and adjust cut heights, patterns, schedules, and create zones directly in the app. The mower itself is super quiet and the trimmer on the side allows it to get right to the edge. It provides a very consistent cut and covers the entire zone when uninterrupted. I am extremely impressed with the battery life and fast charging time. I have found that after scheduling the days/times/zones for cutting, that it has been operating smoothly each time. I have made it a point to blow it off and keep it clean after cuts and am very confident that the high quality components will make it last a long time. In conclusion, I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of my WORX - Landroid Vision Cloud 1/2 Acre and am excited to show it off to the rest of the neighborhood.

Took help from support to set up. They were very clear and punctual. The mapping took a little to understand going from mapping on its own than using manual for paths. It's like operating with a gaming controller for manual. Once I did it mapping is an breeze The robot is a little slow but very meticulous and does a beautiful job. I love how easy it is to operate and to change the types of cuts like on angles rectangle we cut . I definitely recommend it. .

WORX WR320.1 Cuts Grass or Weeds 4in or shorter ... a MAINTAINER. If You can afford the WR420, I would recommend it for Max-Capabilities. It has to be Registered to receive Updates. You must use an Android Tablet-Computer to Control the Mower. The more I mowed my yard, the faster it got. Mow Twice-per-Week to keep everything under 4-inches. I do have the Remote-Controlled Mowrator S1 4-Wheeled-Drive Mower to cover situations that the WORX won't/can't handled ... (such as anything taller than 4-inches that does need to be cut-down). To Summarize: The WORX WR320.1 (or above) is an Excellent Lawn-Maintainer that You should/will-be satisfied with ... and Fun to Watch it Learn. Best robotic lawnmower on the market. I say that because this is my second Landroid. I bought my first one 2016 and worked dependably for 10 years. I wanted an upgrade and larger (1/2 acre) and no boundary wire. This is very easy to use and install, just follow the app instructions. Worx is a very dependable product. All my yard working products are Worx because they WORK.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Worx Landroid has been a challenge to fully setup. I updated to the latest software version and couldn't manually control the unit. I put it in auto mode and it running all over the yard and tried to climb up a hill in my backyard. I will have to setup a no go zone. I'm still not able to connect other parts of my lawn because I still can't control it manually. I am hopeful that with a software update it will function as intended.

So far, a rather frustrating experience, a lot of restarting of the mower. Regularly dropping Wi-Fi connection even though coverage throughout my yard is strong due to exterior WAP's. Losing connection while in the dock 10 feet from access point. Documentation is less than stellar, finding what display indicators mean requires using an Internet search. Cut quality is fair, but exasperated by the fact that leaves will be treated as objects to avoid so patches of grass are left standing unless you diligently clean your lawn before the cut. Definitely saving the box and watching the calendar so I don't miss my return window.

I spent 2-3 hours about 10 days ago setting up and diagnosing my new WR310 from Canadian Tire. I moved it to different locations as it struggled to acquire location before mapping. After researching, it seems like nRTK coverage does not need Line of Sight, but rather after about 5 tries to map in a row it would finally give an NTRIP issue error on this step and suggested contacting support (only available within business hours Eastern time). After talking to support and mentioning the NTRIP issue, they promptly were able to look up my address and confirm it was outside a coverage zone, mentioning it was one of the first they had encountered. This would have been great to know before purchase as all they needed was my street address. I live within about 1 mile of an Agriculture nRTK hub that is part of the CANNET network, so I assumed I would be within nRTK coverage. I followed up via email and got the same answer as I was optimistic to somehow make this work. I think they might be only supporting <2CM accuracy portions of the NTRIP maps, based on getting them to look up a second address, but this lacks a significant portion of rural Canadian coverage. They did not address my question via email other than saying they aren't aware of anything preventing it from working within NTRIP <10cm accuracy coverage, which I appear to have, but after giving my address again, they mentioned i was not covered a few days after that. I just got a lidar model of a competitive brand and it worked out of the box as it is not limited by service area. Worx, it would be great to be able to look up address, maybe add that to registration or your early steps of setup, I did significant debugging of my setup, wifi etc for a 5 minute phone call(after that 40 minute wait) to quickly confirm it just will not work. Thankfully the retailer was willing to accept my return at the advice of Worx support. I think this could be a great product, but the rollout really should take location/geography into location as even after significant research there was no mention of limited coverage.
