I love my MakerX tools and was very excited to see a few new ones, like this blower. After opening it, the first thing I did was clean my laptop. I have dogs and the fur gets everywhere. I go through more canned air then I should. It worked great and my laptop was fur and dust free quickly...as was my laptop desk and a few other dusty knick-knacks I decided to try it on. Then it was on to what I bought it for. I have been doing 3D printing with resin. A key part of the post processing is drying the IPA off the resin after cleaning off the excess resin before curing it in the UV chamber. Leaving the print to air dry gets uneven results. My main air compressor was too powerful even after reducing the flow way down and trying different nozzles. I didn't want to have to drag the big compressor out and set it up every time I needed to dry a print as well. I tried using the MakerX air brush previously. While it is great for painting these prints, it was too gentle to get all the IPA off. My 2 test prints to test the blower on were a Jack Skellington figure by Sergio on My Mini Factory and an Eiffel Tower (both pictures). I had the blower on full power for Jack and it came out beautiful. I was able to dry it without much handling of the still damp resin and have it in the curing station minutes after drying. I was impressed by the result. It is a display piece even if I don't paint it. The 190mm tower had a lot of nooks and crannies that dried great, but I had the blower to high when I started and damaged the hair thin railing in a small area on one side. This was operator error and not the fault of the blower. It is powerful on full blast. The wonderful thing about the blower is it is adjustable through the knob. I turned it down and finished lightly drying the print. After curing, every part of the print looked even and there was no variation in color (usually I get spots) or shine. I finally have a good post processing workflow with this blower. It is a terrific addition to my MakerX collection.
I bought this to replace canned air for cleaning electronic equipment and for cleaning my sewing machine. Again, Worx did not disappoint! Pleased with power and efficiency.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 20V MAKERX Portable Mini Blower is a handy little tool especially for crafters. Its compact design makes it great for smaller spaces, with adjustable air speeds it can be used for smaller jobs or much larger ones. Textured grip for easy handling, will definitely replace some of your larger tools.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blower was a great addition to my MakerX toolbox. It provides a powerful air stream to blow all the sawdust (and any other debris) from the small intricate projects I tend to work on. I use it before I begin to clean the raw wood, then along the way as I cut and sand. I love that these tools are portable and I can bring my projects along with me and am no longer limited to the workbench. Can't wait to get the painting attachment to do some airbrushing. And this blower can be used to remove dust from other objects as well, I've tried it on my computer keyboard, the insides of my printer, the crevices of furniture, etc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the entire set of Makerx tools and accessories. This little blower is one of my most used tools. I use it at work to clean keyboards and computers, it works especially well when paired with the optional set of nozzles. I find the extended nozzle with the brush tip to be perfect for cleaning out computer keyboards. I've also used it to remove the dust from fans (both computer and household) as well as clean air conditioner filters. I've also used it to help dry out laptops that have had water spills. I find it works better than those little cans of compressed air that are costly and don't last long. If you have the Makerx platform, this is a wonderful addition. I consider it very good value for money and recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the portable blower and was quite impressed with the power! I previously have used the canned air to clean my keyboards, but this is much better choice. I was surprised at the result ( unbelievable!). Also, cleaning up after some woodwork crafting is an easier task.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of worx] I have been using this to clean my display models and keep them dust free. There are also other nozzles you can use that make maintaining my displays easy, without damaging them.
I found this little blower to be very powerful and handy to use in all aress
Bought it primarily to use on the engine compartment of our vehicles. Easily blows away dust, pollen & light debris.
VERY, VERY TINY!! Not at all what the price would suggest. No power, and no paperwork to suggest what I needed. This is NOT cordless. You hold the nozzle in one hand and the power supply in the other.
