This is all you need for your lawn to cut your grass. It works perfectly for me and it lasts and last, the thread doesn't cut like others, the weed eater is very strong, it cuts anything cut-able, as long as it is grass. I recommend this one anyday and anytime, you won't regret your purchase.

Returned this for the one that takes attachments. That one, WG 156.9, is working great so far. Lots of power & easy to reload. I have used the brush cutter attachment which also works good.

That attachment options are amazing. I sold my gas powered edger as the power from the batteries was better. Having one main tool with options like edging, grass trimming, to brush trimming has reduced the number of separate tools and clutter I had in my garage. I have been a WORX user for 10 plus years and they keep improving on what can be done by battery power. Thank you from this happy, dedicated customer!!

Very easy to handle and use. It is easy for a lady to use.

I like it because it is light weight and does good job cutting but I have had about 5 of them one locked up on me 2 of them the handle or neck where you have to keep hand on the button I have had 2 of them to break in 1/2 there and no way to repair it. I just wished it was made stronger in that part of it. I just ordered this one because my other one broke also.. I think with the batteries being so heavy on the back end of it and swinging it to cut makes it weak right there where my right hand holds the trigger. I keep buying them because I have several batteries that I can use and not have to recharge so often.

I had one just like this one. Eas 31/2 years old went bad this year. It is winter now,but pray it works in the Spring! I am 73 disabled widow and a young man does my lawn work VERY VERY cheap due to my low income. Other one was garenteed for 3 years per Worx,pray this one is to!??

The Nitro 40 v is powerful, getting the string correct can be an exercise in futility, a spool would be an improvement.

Could not get the "bump" string advance to work. Had to remove the assembly and advance the string manually. This occurred about every 12 feet. I'll be returning this product for refund.

First use, string would not advance. Attempted to rewind very stiff string. Am VERY, VERY unhappy with this product. Disassembly and reassembly is not user friendly. This is at least the 5th Worx string trimmer I have purchased. So I am well versed in use of product. The fourth string trimmer only lasted one season (2025). The push button on string advance wore down from use. Thought it easier to replace unit than attempt ordering parts. I was wrong. I do not write reviews, but I was attempting to work 12/31/25 and this review request was in my inbox today.

Picking up the item in the store was not offered as an option, so I was forced to accept delivery to a location where I would be away for a week. It was misdelivered to a neighbor who also was away, requiring scrambling to locate the package and finally have it left at my location with the help of two neighbors. This was not a pleasant experience and I will be reluctant to order from Walmart again.
