The way all trimmers should be with dual strand. Great features to use, adjust and move around. The trim was easily replaced with thicker strand for better bite. The large capacity battery keeps it going without a hiccup.
I have several Worx products. I'm 68 and a widow. I'm thankful my husband bought Worx because it makes taking care of my yard so much easier. My old Worx weed eater has to be at least 15 yrs old. Still works but the wheels fell off & so I bought a new Nitro weed eater. It's powerful with the dual string. And edging the sidewalks & driveway makes a perfect edge.
So my old 40v trimmer, our first worx purchase, is about ready to die again. Years ago, I purchased a trimmer blower bundle and was disappointed with it. Now years later, it real is about done. So I purchased this trimmer as a replacement. I wasn't sure how the 20v would perform. So I finally had the opportunity to use it... I was impressed with its ability to cut through some tall grasses and weeds. Edging was spot on and clean. I love the dual line, it does make a huge difference. Battery life, well its a 20v. Don't expect it too last long when you are working the tool like I do. I wish the tool came with a double battery and extra spools.. better yet spools for life, would be a big plus.
This equipment is wonderful, light weight, but completes the heavy work. This is our second weed eater, and works great as my husband is in a wheelchair, and these tools make things easy for him to still feel like he can do some things . With the batteries -we don't have to worry about gasoline spilling on him either,
I've used this trimmer a few times and so far it's working perfectly for me. Lots of nice features and very adjustable. The wheel for edging is genius! I had bought another name brand powerful electric with a hinge in the middle and ended up returning it. This one is half the price and works twice as good. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my son.
I found this weed wacker to be very innovative with its ability to edge with the wheel attachment. it works quite well. I also found it to be quite powerful and the long battery life allows me to finish all my trimming which includes a 120-ft fence on both sides! It's also very adjustable with its height and angle of cut and it's quite lightweight. I couldn't be happier with it.
I am a Worx brand advocate. I have a Robot mower and the smaller string trimmer. My needs required more power and the second string. So this one fit my bill. Oh and the game changer, the wheel helps me as I have bad shoulders.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it! I have been using Worx tools for over 6 years but this purchase has been the best so far. The Nitro trimmer is easy to use and powerful, it has cut down my trimming time tremendously.
This is the second Worx weed eater we have gotten. The first one we bought 8 years ago and has done well in holding up. This time we needed one with a little more power and the Nitro has provided that. It's easy to use and control
GOOD: Much more powerful than the GT it replaced. Two lines work better than one. Brushless motor is smoother running. Ability to handle high grass and weeds. SO SO: Heavier (the 4AH battery helps balance things out). Cannot hear the line advance like you can with the GT. No pull out brush guard. Overall it's a fine machine that can handle the tougher stuff without complaints and am happy with the decision to purchase it.
