Worx WG173.9 20V Nitro Brushless Cordless 13" Grass and Weed String Trimmer and Edger (Tool Only)

The very best because of the cutting power with two lines/strings and most important is it's very light not straining your next or back when your out their in the yard for an hour. No gas to fuss with, battery power is the way to go now with lithium ion batteries.

The string feeder did not work right out of the box. Had to feed line manually since the handle trigger was not working. Purchased new spools but still would not feed. I purchased this trimmer/edger because my old WORX trimmer (purchased in 2022) would only feed line manually, the trigger on the handle stopped working in early spring 2026. After discussing with the WORX customer service and sending photos it was determined my trimmer was missing a spring on the cutting head assembly. I was then told they would send a new assembly as a ‘good will gesture'. Really? I had the trimmer for five weeks and it's a good will gesture?

This is absolutely the BEST String Trimmer they have. I have had everyone since they come out and this is absolutely the best. The Dual Head is great and the 16 feet of line is perfect for my large lawn trimming and edging. Huge length adjustable shaft for us taller people works out great for me. Command feed works great as it did on previous models. The dual string head makes the job get done faster. Highly Recommend this one!

Need additional string and they are out of stock

So my old 40v trimmer, our first worx purchase, is about ready to die again. Years ago, I purchased a trimmer blower bundle and was disappointed with it. Now years later, it real is about done. So I purchased this trimmer as a replacement. I wasn't sure how the 20v would perform. So I finally had the opportunity to use it... I was impressed with its ability to cut through some tall grasses and weeds. Edging was spot on and clean. I love the dual line, it does make a huge difference. Battery life, well its a 20v. Don't expect it too last long when you are working the tool like I do. I wish the tool came with a double battery and extra spools.. better yet spools for life, would be a big plus.

This is the third time I purchased a Worx trimmer. Overall I like this trimmer but the motor on my trimmers stopped working just after the warranty expired. I purchased a new trimmer because I already had 4 batteries. The owner manual is difficult to understand. I had to go to YouTube to find a video to help with assembly. The video had simple instructions.

Loved my older model weed wacker, until it started falling apart. Got the new version and love it even more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love all the Worx tools, the weed trimmer, blower, hedge trimmer and the cordless drill we own.

I've owned a lot of weedeaters in my life but as I get older, I go back to my Workx. Just ordered a new one and was so happy it has double lines and still lightweight! I just couldn't life my heavy Stihl another day! I'm so happy I stuck with Workx. It fits my needs 100%!

I have a 40 volt myself. I got this one for my sister in law as a gift
