Worx WG184 40V Power Share 13" Cordless String Trimmer & Wheeled Edger

It surprised me, it's actually a good trimmer it's very quite and I love the reverse wheel edging it is quick and simple. I can do my whole lawn before it completely lose power, speaking on power the batteries start off strong but start to fade at about the 10min mark, that's my only beef you gotta work fast cause the battery life is short. I've only used it twice so I got a feeling these batteries aren't going to last long. so far I'm loving it it don't nag the neighbors like my gas trimmer.

I am 77. I got tired of my electric weed eater, so I got the WORX battery 40V. I had no problem using it. It has a lot of power and cuts great. Love it!! MiMi

Love the wheeled attachment that comes with it for edging. Makes it look professionally done! The 2 x 2.0 amp batteries last several trims around my property.

As I'm currently waiting for shoulder surgery I am unable use the pull cord on our gas trimmer. I got this trimmer so I can still help my husband with yard work. This machine is perfect for me and really easy to use. Being only 5' 1” I find this trimmer very handy to use.

Great in a pinch or for smaller jobs. I have the original 2.0Ah batteries which limits the amount of time it can be used. Can I use a 20V PowerShare PRO 8.0Ah Lithium-Ion High-Capacity Battery with the WG644? If so, can two be used at the same time if I don't mind the overall weight?

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First day I used it was one of the best electric trimmers I have used (compared to Dewalt and Ryobi). But it would not work the 2nd day. It just stated shutting off even though I had full batteries. You could keep hitting the trigger and it would start for a bit than shut off again. It worked great for a day at few diffrent locations (2 full battery charges and uses). Now it no longer works at all even with full batteris. I require one daily for edging small walkways at sites with my work so I bought a Dewalt electric trimmer the next day and it is horrible compared to the Worx trimmer. The guard was to small sending grass everywhere, couldn't adjust the height and angle which was hard on my back as I was too tall. But it had a good battery life. That one also quit working for no reason but I am just going to return the Dewalt as the Worx was a clearly better model. Worx has a pretty good warranty and was the better model when it worked. I will update my review with how warranty proccess was handled.

Had a few other minor problems...but the Command Feed stopped working after the two year warranty. Can't get any help on what the problem is other than "it's out of warranty" so I guess you use these products until they quit and throw them away?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of Worx tools, especially the 2x20v (40V) product line, but the Hydroshot Power Cleaner is a total waste of $240 (at least I have two new batteries and a charger). The tool claims to have 400psi, but it doesn't really show up, and it rapidly burns through 20v batteries. Save your money – if you have serious pressure washing to accomplish (curbs, decks, siding and etc.) you will be disappointed with this tool.
