Good value

Stevevalu May 26, 2021

Ran about 30 minutes before had to stop and recharge it. I thought the deal included 1 battery in the box and 1 extra battery. It actually had 2 in the box and 1 extra, so now if I pick up another battery, I will have a pair for charging and a pair to be using, which will bring the total cost to around $240.

It's a Hoss

RMathis March 8, 2022

This thing is a hoss. It is a little bigger trimmer than I imagined, and that a good thing. It has no trouble making a clean cut even through small limbs of a bush, while maintaining as much precision as the operator is able. It has a little weight to it, so I would hate to try to use it more than a few hours. The batteries provide plenty of power. It is so great to leave the cord behind, and no longer worry about accidentally cutting through it.. I also have a Worx blower, so I have four batteries and two chargers. Always ready.

Powerful hedge trimmers

jboamer April 2, 2022

Thesr are powerful trimmers. I have 3 acres, plugging in and daisy chaining extension cords is a pain in the neck. Worx power trimmers are a God send.

lots of power

Uncle Dave II October 7, 2020

I own several Wokx products. and love them. I had an edge trimmer I cut weeds / Bushes off my beach that brand name did not make it through a season, so I bought this work 40 v. man so much power for a long time. A true man's tool. If I could change one thing, it would be weight, that will happen as technology advances. do yourself a favor lose the gas or the cord. go freely to conquer your weeds

Rates a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5

I bought this item around Jan/Feb and have used it several times over the past 6 months without any issues. It “worx” really well for trimming the well-matured Boxwood, Euonymus, Nandina and other shrubs in our yard. I’ve even used it to trim ornamental grasses down to a nub. The twin batteries keep the trimmer powered for a very long time. They also power it with sufficient torque to get through the job quickly. I’ve only had to recharge it once over the last two times I trimmed the entire front and back yard. It comes with a dual battery charger; how convenient is that?! There are several excellent safety and convenience features. My favorite is the swivel head. It makes it very easy to cut the top of the shrub and then tackle the sides without having to contort my arms. As an added convenience, I can control the blades by holding any point of the handle. As for how effective it is on various branch thickness, I’ve had no problems trimming and clearing shrubs which have been in our yard for more than 20 year. However, I can’t attest whether it would cut through 3/4” branches (as advertised) since we don’t have any shrubs with limbs that thick. It does such a wonderful job that I've even toyed with the idea of "sculpting" my shrubs ever since I used this trimmer on the first shrub. A good tool could indeed bring out the artist inside every person! Lastly, for a small person like me, the trimmer feels rather heavy. However, it is fairly well balanced which keeps my arms from getting sore or tired. To summarize, this is an excellent hedge trimmer. Keep your eyes on it to go on sale and buy it right away when it does.

perfit and meets my needs

CtPadre May 30, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we are in an area where the electricity was not on and this cordless actually made the job of cutting hedges easier and quicker than when we had power for our electric hedges cutters. The growth of the hedges got out of control and i thought there was no way to get them back to a good height but i was wrong and one pass through the 120 ft of hedges were back. Now i do not worry if the power stays out.

Love my new Cordless Hedge Trimmer

Captain WFD October 6, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my new 40 Volt Hedge Trimmer about a month ago. I am surprised how much work I can accomplish before recharging the batteries. I'm 70 years old and the trimmer is just a little heavy compared to my old corded trimmer, but I no longer have to drag a 100ft. extension cord around! Plus I don't accidentally cut that extension cord anymore!

My yard looks great

Polly66 September 27, 2020

I bought this for my own birthday gift and immediately put it together and attacked the box wood hedge. It was a wonderful experience to see the box wood trimming fall to the ground with ease of movement and wonderful quietness. I have gas powered hedge trimmers also but won't be using them, as long as remember to charge the battery of the Worx trimmer. I can do without the gas fumes and noise, that won't let me think. The weight does not seem to be a problem with the type of trimming I am doing, but it is heaver then a gas powered trimmer because of the motor.

Worx 40V Power Share Cordless 24" Hedge Trimmer

DogPirate May 15, 2022

The cut is adequate, but if you're trimming more than 10 feet of hedge you had better have at least one other set of batteries charged and waiting. Not for professional use.
