Worx WG349.9 20V Power Share 8" Pole Saw with Auto-Tension (Tool Only)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the pruning saw to use in instances where I needed to climb up into a tree and remove smaller branches as well as removing the smaller branches off of felled limbs before I cut them into logs with a chain saw. It seems like the perfect tool for the use up in a tree, especially for an amateur. Even though it is recommended not to, you can operate the saw with one hand. As far as removing the smaller side branches on a limb, it is significantly quicker than performing the task in other ways. I also didn't have any issues with the battery running out before I was done with my work. Wish that I had one of these 20 years ago.

Got my 5" saw out of the box and put in a battery. Put a little oil on the chain and went out and used it. Worked like a charm. Easy to use and helped me clean out an overgrown fence row! I am 74 and this tool is fantastic.

Very Handy Chain Saw. Bought this one for a gift. Have used my saw many times to trim trees and cut up campfire wood. As with all of my other WORX purchases this Cordless Pruning Saw is a quality tool and the battery sharing amongst all of my WORX tools is a great advantage.

We have multiple Worx products and absolutely love them all. This was just another great addition. It's light weight and perfect for our needs in trimming branches out of our trees and cutting up smaller branches that come out of some of our older trees. Thanks for another wonderful tool!!

As I have gotten older, I cannot start our gas powered yard tools .i did my research on battery powered tools and decided to try WORKS battery power tools . I absolutely love every thing I have gotten from them . The men in the family teased me about my battery powered tools and now they use them exclusively. I have 7 of the tools and will continue to buy them for myself and as gifts .

My item arrived in a damaged package. But the item itself was undamaged. I assembled it and it works perfectly. No parts are missing. I would buy from this seller again.

Saw arrived as expected and was packed appropriately. I used the saw to heavily prune my crab apple tree. I typically prune this tree annually, but this year, the growth was more than usual. Nevertheless, the saw made short work of the heavy pruning. I was extremely pleased with how the saw performed. The one minor drawback is that the chain oil had to be administered manually. The saw comes with a small plastic bottle for performing this function. Other than this one minor problem, the saw performed admirably and I would recommend this product to anyone interested in such a device.

The 2ah battery doesn't last long enough and doesn't have enough power. After several cuts, the battery dies and you have to depress the switch and start over again only to stop again after a few seconds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pole saw has a nice reach. I was able to get to some pretty high branches. Just harder to balance when it is extended all the way. It did the job I needed it to do. I believe it can use about six (6) different WORX share batteris. The only thing I could get information on was the weight of the oil to use. I read the manual about 5-6 times. No information about the oil.

it broke the first 5 minutes I used it and then I got it working again and it broke a metal piece on the Chain tightener after only 30 minutes of use when I tried to tighten the chain. it was the total waste of time. when it was working it cut fine but it wasn't working most of the time.
