Has lasted years under heavy use

Lebreton April 15, 2026

This is a one-for-one replacement of the one I have been using extensively for years. Replacement was required because the hard plastic housing surrounding the motor was finally punctured by repetitive strikes against it from the inside by hard bits of mulch that occasionally get sucked up.

Awesome Leaf Blower!

Who Who March 9, 2026

My Worx 12 amp corded (110 volt a/c) 400 CFM 250 mph leaf blower produces the speed and volume of air I wanted it to & does what I want it to. I researched leaf blowers, looking for the most powerful corded blower on the market, and found this Worx model to be the most powerful, and what I was looking for. I was not disappointed. In fact, I plan to buy another soon.

Worx WG524 saves the day and plenty of your time!

Mark February 27, 2026

After many years wasting the better part of my day dealing with fallings leaves, raking, and packing them into industrial sized yard-waste bags, I'm very happy to have found the Worx WG524. It has taken hours (even days) off of how long it takes to deal with falling leaves; and it's reduced the number of people needed to do the work down to just me. Once I gathered the falling foliage into either one gigantic pile (or several piles - to save even more time) I simply set the WG524 to vaccuum mode, choose one of the multiple power levels, and then watch it work its magic as it grabs up gobs of leaves. At that point, you can hear the impeller as it heartily slices and dices the debris into much smaller pieces so that it's easy to fit a lot more of this yard waste into your trash barrel. That's where the 18:1 mulch ratio really shows its stuff. Yesterday I spent only about 2 hours (including raking and vaccuuming time) getting up this year's first round of falling leaves. (We live in South FL, so leaves begin falling the months prior to Spring). That work, in the past would have taken the better part of a work day ; but now I get my time back, and (unlike some other vac-blowers) this one is easy on the back. On top of that, since it has 3-in-1 functionatity, once I'm done disposing of all of the leaf waste, I simply pop off the collection bag, turn the function knob counter-clockwise to the blower setting, and blow away any remaining unsightly stuff off of my walkway. I own a Ryobi blower (it's great), but I would pit the Worx WG524 blower up against any other any day. I'd only state the only con is that this is an AC-powered unit, so you'll need to have that energy source available.

An excellent blower/vac!

DBrownMx February 20, 2026

This is a powerful blower/vac that sucks up and grinds leaves well. It converts quickly and easily between blower and vac, so you can gather then collect leaves. You have to orient the bag attachment correctly to get it to connect. Make sure the bag is zipped up completely, to reduce the amount of dust. I chose corded rather than battery, so I didn't need to deal with limited battery life at high power (plus better cost, no batteries to replace when they die and better for the environment - no lithium batteries to dispose of in the future).

Would buy again

Kyla January 17, 2026

We ordered this for my 14-year-old to start a business vacuuming up leaves. It works great!! If it's a LARGE pile, you have to do a sweeping motion over the top so it doesn't clog with too much at once. He used the mulching bag. We have not tried to attach to trash can yet. Otherwise, the only improvement would be a cordless option to not battle the extension cord.

Works great!

Lesley April 30, 2026

I am very pleased with this vacuum/mulcher. Very easy to use. There was a learning curve just because I tried to vac huge piles instead of working into it. I had to get it jammed up before I figured it out LOL! I like the adjustable strap, I personally would like an extra handle to hold the tube in place. But this made pretty quick work of the leaves that built up all winter.

Very good value for the money. Very satisfied with ease of use. One drawback is the weight. A solution might be to add a shoulder strap for the unit.

Powerful, makes yard work easier

Richard November 1, 2025

I purchased an electric unit, it works great. The suction is quite powerful and it easily blows debris away. I found the unit a tad heavy, as mentioned by others, but worked great for vacuuming up leafs. I would recommend the item to others. It definitely makes yard work easier.

Will keep for dry leaves

Jimmy5 November 13, 2025

Does not pick up wet leaves well. The two small wheels don't roll in grass. This unit is Heavy and has lots of power with the 2)large batteries that die after one small pile of leaves, so have 2)back ups charged. When changing batteries out or dumping the Mulch bag.....no good way to set Blower/Vac/Mulcher down (if only Worx could have made a tri-pod to come down like on golf bags). Does not attach to the Worx Leafpro.

Great machine. Poor battery life.

jmm13 November 29, 2025

Great machine but battery doesn't last long. It's powerful and both the blower and mulcher are great. However, the batteries lasted 20 mins so getting a small yard done takes all day given recharging takes about 2 hours. 2 hours to charge for 20 mins of power
