I bought this as a replacement for my old Craftsman cordless drill since my old batteries were drained, and I could no longer find a new one that fits it. So glad I did! I can use the same batteries that my Worx string trimmer and edger uses so I don't have to mess around with different kinds of batteries and chargers. This drill is pretty small so it is easy to handle and should be just right for getting things done around the house. It's probably not a workhorse kind of drill for big building projects but it will be great for basic household use. Already used it to repair some garage door molding, and we also plan on using it soon to put hardware on our kitchen cabinets. It "WORX" great!
What makes worx products so great is the universal 20volt battery that can be used with multiple tools. This battery is not only powerful but lasts a considerable amount of time. Such is the case with the Drill and Driver. This product has all of the features necessary to to get any job completed with variable speed control, multiple torque settings, and as mentioned above all of the power you will ever need. I currently own the hedge trimmer, the telescopic bush trimmer, the regular bush trimmer and this power drill and driver tool that all run on the 20 volt battery system. In conclusion, if you purchase this Power Drill and Driver, you won't be disappointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted the 1/2" but only the 3/8" without a battery was available at the time! It will work for most projects though! Price was right and I have all the batteries I will need for it! Hoping it lasts a long time though! :-)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am SOOOO impressed with the 20V Cordless Power Drill...I bought 2!!! What a great gift I gave myself!!! I am a 73 years young female. I am repairing our deck...we use one drill to predrill holes and one for securing deck screws. It is very efficient, saves time, energy, and is very kind to wrists. Thank you Worx for such great tools!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this drill because the batteries for my old drill will no longer hold a charge. I have a WORX drill that uses hex bits but I have a lot of conventional bits. It works well and the LED light is helpful. I like that I can swap batteries with my other WORX tools.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The batteries on my old name-brand drill stopped holding a charge. Replacement batteries were as much as a whole set, so I bought a new drill. Then I noticed Worx had one too (for a lot less money) and I've been very impressed with all the other Worx stuff I've bought. I became frustrated with the lack of power and the speed at which the batteries drained on my new name-brand drill. Then the Worx drill I ordered came and I haven't touched the name-brand since. Incredible battery life and all the power I need to get the jobs done. From now on, I'm checking the Worx catalog before buying any tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of worx] This tool was very helpful in helping me hang up my pictures after moving it did a great job driving the nails in my wall. This tool also helped me to put my kids power wheels together it made the process faster.
Great companion to my worx torque driver. Sharing batteries is a great plus. Looking forward to many years of service.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a much smaller and lightweight drill than my Makita‘s or Dewalt but it is very nice for my wife.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like worx tools. I have many that share the 20v batteries. My biggest issue with the drill is the lack of a place to store a screwdriver bit. This drill doesn't have a bit holder so you have to carry one around in your pocket.
