Worx WX261L 20V Power Share Brushless Impact Driver

I've been a Worx fan for about 10+ years now and have about 16 or 17 tools. I had the previous version of the Worx Impact Driver and used the heck out of it for 6 years and it finally went bad earlier this year. I did some research on the competition and found Worx still putting out a great product. I've used both the Nitro Impact Driver and Hammer Drill a lot already and I'm impressed with the quality and performance! The updates in technology have a measurable difference, projects are done quicker and easier. The Hammer Drill flies through mortar, brick, block and concrete. The Impact Driver smoothly torques any fastener with it's speed selector. Well done Worx!

I am just getting into building things in my recently purchased house and I was using a basic drill to try and build a chicken coop and run but was really struggling. I ordered this combo set and they have been LIFESAVERS!!! The hammer drill really helped me out when I used the hole saw and the impact driver has been the go to for all the building using deck screws. These are powerful and efficient and the batteries last forever. Best drill and impact driver I have used.

They are light but so much power. Get any job done easily. I will continue to grow my worx collection. I have 3 weed eaters, a lawn mower, the nitro 14 in chainsaw and this combo set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So apprently I have had the wrong tools for all of my projects…. My regular drill wasn‘t cutting it with screws that needed to go into thick wood and holes that needed to be drilled into masonry. I used the impact driver for large screws into a block of 4x4. I literally only had to hold the trigger down and the massive torque moved that screw into wood like it was butter. I felt no resistance or kickback while using the impact driver. I used the hammer drill to hang up a bike rack on my garage walls. My normal drill would barely get the mason drill bit 1/4“ into the concrete wall while the Worx Nitro hammer drill wanted to go through the other side… The „chip away“ action that comes from the anchor inside wore the wall down like nothing. The cordless vs. wired myth is busted from just using these products. Outside of the time limit to battery power, it‘s strength is at equal levels. The compact size of the nitro line makes it easy to handle and easy to carry on a tool belt. The battery security is also a big plus. By using a slide mechanism instead of a pop in clip, it eliminates accidental release. The LED light even though it‘s tiny, is sufficient to illuminate the surface in dark areas so you can see what you are doing. The included bag, which can hold both tools as well as the batteries, is a nice added bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great set of tools, the hammer drill does the job, used it on tile and concrete and work great on both materials, built pretty good has good weight. Led light gives enough light in the darker areas to make it easy to see what you are doing without having to get a flashlight. Impact drive works great no problems with the tool drives 3” construction screws without a problem, 3/8 lags are no problem drives right into the presser treated material. Battery life has been good there is enough power to drive quite a few screws before recharge. The 3 speeds on the impact driver is helpful when you need just a little less speed on different screws you may be using. Overall happy with the tools and holding up well in a professional setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i'm a Worx die hard, all my garden and power tools are Worx. i bought this combo kit last year in 2024, and regularly use a Hammer Drill, it works perfect for all my job projects, but i never use the Impact driver, until today 5/24/2025 i have a project to replace my fence gate and have to install the t-hinge, so i started to use the impact driver WX261L for the first time, insert new battery, pull the trigger.. so surprise .. it only jerk a little bit in both direction .. LED just flash a few times, so i think this time i lost. my point is even you trust the brand and use only brand, you should test all your tolls when you received, i still trust Worx tools as my house whole project

Only used it twice over a 6 months period then it broke and it was light use (it was a Christmas gift). Will not spin just makes a noise. if I spin it by hand while pressing the trigger I can get it to spin, but it only works for a minute then returns to the issue. The next step will be to see what the Wrox Warranty is like, will it cost more to use the Waranty than I paid for the driver??? we shall see...
