Worx WX508L 20 Volt Cordless Electric Powershare Reciprocating Saw w/ LED Light

I just purchased this saw. In the limited time I have owned this tool. I have completed several jobs that have been lingering for far to long. Seems to dig right in to the work. Blades go in easily. Is easy to operate. And it was easy to register the tool online.

Using it to cut tree roots that are above ground to make mowing simpler. This is a great tool for my purpose. Powerful enough to do the job without the cord.

I bought one of these a few months back for my son and when I saw how good it worked so I bought one for myself. Good battery life for the size of it. Wished they had the option of purchasing it with 2 batteries.

I bought this and right out of the box I gave it a workout. This saw has awesome power, is light and easy to handle. Exceptional run time is just what I wanted.

I bought this saw for the cordless capabilities and am happy that the battery is interchangable with my worx products. I am really satisfied with the sturdiness of this saw.

We don't need anything as big as a chainsaw. This will fill our needs.

Got this to replace a corded model. Have quite a few Worx tools and like the battery swapping. I use it for minor tree and bush trimming that doesn't need a chainsaw. Really like the pendulum cut. The corded one I had didn't have that feature and it cuts a lot faster.

I have two 20V Worx tools and am very happy with both. I bought this because I already have chargers and batteries and wanted a cordless saw. It looked good out of the box. The battery is half the size and less mah than my other two devices. It's what you would expect to come on a electric screwdriver not a full size reciprocating saw. I got about 15 minutes of saw time over the course of around an hour. Pretty poor run time to say the least. The owner's manual is a series of drawings with no writing. There is no diagram on how to insert the blade and no explanation of what the switch on the side does. It has a zero, one, two, and three on it. It appears it causes the blade to move in an orbital manner but once you start sawing, I couldn't tell the difference. The lock of the blades was weak. There was noticeable movement front to back and side to side. The blade actually came out of the saw and stuck into the limb I was cutting. It only happened once but I've never had that happen with any other reciprocal saw. Overall, disappointed in this purchase. It is not up to the same quality standards of the other Worx tools I have, the battery included is only good if you have quick jobs of less than 15 minutes, the locking mechanism of the blades seems very weak, and the manual is just a waste of paper with pictures but no actual explanation of what things do. I will say that customer service very good, responsive, and helpful. I would give their customer service a 9 1/2 and the tool a 3, the battery a 1, and the user's manual a zero.
