I have been wanting a small saw for quite some time and this deal came up and I decided to add it to my collection of other Worx tools. I'm so happy with it's convenient size and the ease of use. I look forward to using for many projects and not having to get the big corded saw out every time.
This compact circular saw actually saved my life, where I live we had a very very cold Winter and my house had a lot of ice dams built up all along the edge of the roof right above our bedroom. The roof started to leak in the ceiling and walls of the bedroom and I used that saw for everything from cutting the ice up in chunks, the wood on the eaves and roof on the outside and ceiling and walls inside. With my wife's help we actually made all the repairs and replacements in less than 2 days. It was so cold I couldn't use my razor knife to cut the asphalt shingles, I use that saw for cutting those also. Saved our lives, literally. Great circular saw. Never fail us at our time of need. Thank you Worx for making great tools. Robert MacPherson, Framingham MA. 👍🙏
I love how smoothly it cut. They way that the saw fits in my hand. and I love the size of the saw. and it uses the same batteries as my other Worx tools
The saw is easy to use after installing the blade, however I didn't find the locking lever to set the bolt holding the blade tight. I knew there had to be one but looking at the manual I didn't see it listed. I did find it though so I now don't have to tighten the blade after every cut.
Great saw, light weight and powerful, I was using the corded model a lot but battery op is the way to go. As a right hander I've always used saws that the motor is on the left so I can see the blade cutting on the line. Back in my builder days the worm drive skill was my saw of choice, being retired this is my go to now.
The perfect tool for the 10 minute jobs around the house or even bigger jobs. Fits my hand perfectly and gets the work done. Thank you for a great product.
This is a pretty nice saw BUT the web page states that it would cut at a 90 degree angle a 2x 4 stud (which is 1 ¾ inches) but the blade only cuts 1 ½ inches and not a 2x4 stud which is why I bought it so that was a big disappointment , if you don't need it to cut a 2x4 stud then any thig less this saw is ok
Lasting power is a problem. When using a 20V 2H battery the saw runs out of power within 2 minutes A 20V 4H battery is a must. Makes saw heavier but it's worth it.
When it says “tool only” they mean tool only. The box contained the saw and a blade. That's it. Not even a wrench to for blade installation and removal
I assembled the blade onto the saw as the extremely limited instructions showed. When I tried to run it the blade hit the blade guard and stopped. Cannot get it to run correctly. Do not buy this flawed item.
