Great tool. I've used this for many project from cutting up a lot of carboard boxes to trimming carpet pad and thick carpet. Fast and easy to use so, purchased another for all kinds of project. You will be amazed how useful this tool is.
Perfect tool for DIY projects.
Nice little cutter, great to use for jobs that do not require a big blade to take out.
Owned one that works so well when needed I order two more, good product
This is one of those tools that I do not use everyday but when a person is into one of “those” projects and a “life saving” specialty is called for, this may be it. The CHOPPER will cut metal sheets, pipes and bars. In addition,if you are doing tile work the CHOPPER works great getting the final tiles fitted just right. If you are doing just a small job, you might be able to complete it entirely only using the CHOPPER but - don't throw away the wet saw just yet.... I have included a couple of pictures, one of a chain link fence rail that I cut as an example and samples of what you can do with ceramic tile (note the clean cut, no chipping). Remember, it is cordless so it is easy to use on site. It cut the rail (medium thick steel stock) quickly, but will take longer with something thicker like galvanized pipe. I would suggest whatever you are doing, let the tool do its job. Don't push it and you will be happy with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Right after I bought this I got to use it on a bathroom remodel. It was handy to cut off protruding nails during demo with the cut-off wheel but really became the go to tool for trimming and shaping ceramic tile with the supplied tile wheel. Plenty of power, easy to handle, and small enough to fit almost anywhere. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
COMPACT, CORDLESS BUT POWERFULL ENOUGH, ONE HAND OPERATION. NOT FOR BIG JOBS, BUT EXCELLENT METAL CUTTER *****.
Handy tool for small jobs. The blade is only 3 inches in diameter. It gets stuck easily because it stops rotating if too much torque is applied. The blade spins so fast that it burns the material— don't use it on polymer materials.
Good so far. Honestly, I bought the tool because it wasn't much more than a bare battery, and I needed an extra battery. I expected to use it occasionally. I was installing new trim and found it quite handy to make straight cuts.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Worx WX801L! It is the perfect size for cutting screws that are sticking out, plastic or vinyl products like pvc pipes or vinyl siding! I have not tried to cut wood with the wood blade or any ceramic tile with the masonry blade. The one downside that I wish could be resolved is that this tool creates a lot of dust! The blade just throws it all over the tool. If this had a dust shroud to direct the dust into a shop vac, this would get a 5 star review!
