Wow! That is an understatement to describe these Chocolate Protein Donuts. I am not sure how they manage to pack such amazing chocolately goodness into 120 calories, but they hit it out of the park. Not only are these sweet morsels high in protein with a whopping 13 grams, but they are low in sugar with just 4 grams to boot. Highly recommend to all health conscious consumers. You will NOT be disappointed!
I've been loving Wow's Protein Donuts now for months and the Chocolate flavor is my favorite! Rich, dense, chocolatey like a real cake-style donut but good for you! I don't know how they do it but these donuts are incredible, you have to try. There's nothing like them on the market and I recommend them to everyone.
This product is absolutely perfect if you are on a calorie deficit program. After losing 60 pounds last year in 2022 this helps me stay consistent and satisfies my cravings for carbs and at 120 calories each how can you go wrong? The only knock I have on the product is I wish it had more variety of flavors like Maple and you only get 4 pet box. I tried the blueberry variety but, unfortunately the doughnuts are extremely dry and they don't keep very well often spoiling before consumption.
OK, so, first of all. These aren't really a donut, unless you're comparing them to a cake donut. They remind me more of a moist snack cake, like Hostess or Dolly Madison. And that is a GOOD thing. Holy crap are these wonderful. So, the carb count is about twice what you're used to in a protein snack if you are a devotee of Quest or Think bars. They are very moist and cake-y, with an agreeable chocolate flavor. It's hard to eat just one. I recommend them. I'd like to try the other flavor, but our Wal-Mart never has them. In fact, these are either not being ordered in quantity or are being bought at an underestimated rate. I had to order some for delivery because the two closest Wal-Marts were out. If you're watching carbs, or like me diabetic and trying to go low fat, this is very much worth a try.
The chocolate taste is delicate, and they are topped with chocolate frosting. That's a win-win in my opinion. I tasted these at room temperature, and I also put them in the freezer for a time. I enjoyed the frozen-like texture but that's just my preference. The company tagline is " Have your donut and eat it too!" I really wanted to eat TWO! A nice mid-day or evening snack. Pairs well with any type of milk, coffee, tea, etc. ENJOY!
This Chocolate is the best of the 2 other flavors I tried. Must be a new recipe? The other 2 were good but more like sponge cake. This one is more donuty. Sponge Cake or Donut they good and fill you up for breakfast which is good for the diet plan.
These greatly surprised me. The chocolate is my favorite flavor behind the Cake Batter and they make for a great snack. These are dense and very filling. At 130 calories with 11 grams of protein, they are very easy to fit into my macros. I will be adding these to my snack drawer to help with those sweet cravings I get on my diet.
Texture and taste were awful! I barely choked down one bite and the rest all went in the trash! Glad I got them on sale become as much as I hate wasting food, I was ok throwing away $8 in this case! Gross!
If there were negative numbers for star ratings, I would give -10. Literally inedible. Tasted one and threw the whole package away. Smelled very strange and the texture was rubbery.
These are the most disgusting “protein donuts”. They are bitter and leave a horrible aftertaste. I eat a lot of different protein based treats and am known to like things that most people don’t. So I’m telling you, these are horrible!!
