WowWee COJI The Coding Robot Toy

I got this robot as a birthday gift for my son who just turned 3 years old. He loves this robot! You can connect via Bluetooth and the CoJI app on a tablet or smart phone (we use an iPad). It's user friendly to program and send commands to - you can drive it forward, backward, circular, etc.; it makes different animated/emoji faces and sounds; it dances. You can also use it on its own without being connected to a smart device - you can just press the buttons on the side of its head to see different commands and then press down slightly on its head to make it do the command you choose. It's a fun toy for a young child or someone young at heart.

My son's all time favorite toy

Out of all the Christmas gifts my 7 yr old son received, this was his favorite! Very good with teaching the basics of coding for him to understand. It took a few minutes for it to connect with the app but once it did, so many options to play with. The robot is very funny when he does some of the commands, the whole family enjoyed it!

It's a nice beginning coding experience for the littles. My kiddo likes it. Worth the money.

Bought for a five year old girl. Three year old and eight year old brothers also enjoy it.

After reading all the specs, and reviews I bought one of these for my granddaughter. I installed the app on her tablet...and it didn't work. I removed the app, and then reinstalled it....it didn't work. I checked what OS version is should work with, and it should work. I then installed it on MY cell phone..and it worked like a charm.

we couldn't download the app as the tablet was connected to an old one we had. I wish there was another option to get the app to really see how the robot worked. super disappointed.

An old Chatty Cathy doll would be more entertaining. This is a very cheap knock off of better robots. It says a very few barely understandable phrases, more like grunt sounds, not intelligible words, and has a few lights light up. The download for the emoji and code is from Amazon and is not compatible with any of the 8 devices we have in our home. We are going to try the download on someone else's phone and if that doesn't make this a real working toy with some degree of interaction, learning and skill, will be returning it.

We got this toy yesterday and my son was very happy and excited. Today we are getting a problem with the display. After few mins, the display/monitor goes off and never come back whatever we do. It still does the action like before but dont have display. My son is sad as he liked interacting with Coji with display. We may need to return it.
