Wrangler Men's Relaxed Fit Carpenter Short

Wear these shorts for work and leisure! They are comfortable and durable. When ordering this year ( 6/2021 ) ordering page indicates these run small, I did not find that to be true and ordered the regular size I usually purchase. I ordered the denim and khaki this year and the fit is the same.

We received one pair of size 38. They are too large. We would like to exchange them, but the tags are gone and they have been washed. We have looked all summer for these shorts. Thank you so much.

I love the cotton feel of these shorts and the fit is perfect for me. I have noticed that the back of the shorts on the side of the pocket keeps tearing. I have had three pair tear in this same spot. Can they be reinforced in this area? I just ordered three new pair. I hope they dont do the same.

Well, I just got these about a week ago. I tried them on and they fir great. But the weather got cold and I haven't been able to wear them yet. I wish they were an inch or 2 longer, but they will be a good replacement for shorts of the same color that are too big for me now.

These shorts are very comfortable. I am a carpenter so I like the fact that they have a hammer loop. There is one thing that needs to be improved and that is the side utility pockets. They are both not deep enough. I always carry a utility knife in my shorts along with a pencil. The pockets are not deep enough to hold these things so they keep falling out. The smaller pocket would be ok if it wasn't slanted down so steep. Other than these things the shorts are great. I will wear them for non work purposes but the pockets are a big issue for what I bought them for.

I like the design, fit and look and owned many pairs of the Wrangler Denim Carpenter Shorts, every pair has the same problems. The back pockets and belt loops fabric tears where their attached to the shorts, on every pair I owned. None have worn out, all were discarded because of being torn. The quality certainly could be better.

I wear these shorts daily for work and for leisure and have worn them for years. For the past couple of years, the quality of denim has declined. When I first started wearing these shorts, the denim was thicker (heavier?) and would last from April to October. Now I find myself replacing them every three months. The color fades quickly and the front pocket area becomes very worn.

Shorts are ok except the cloth in the butt of them is to thin. Wears out quickly and will split easily. Have bought same shorts year over year and quality has declined.

I didn't think I was buying seconds but the hems are different lengths and the crotch does not line up with the butt seam. Wrangler has really gone down hill.

These seem like nice shorts but are not anywhere close to accurate in size. I’m hoping to try the next size up to see if they fit better. I wear a normal size 34” waist and although these are relaxed fit they fit like a size 32” waist. I’ll try the next size up a 36” waist and report back on my findings, maybe even a 38” waist will be needed to fit correctly. They are nice shorts but no where close to accurate on size so buyer beware. Order at least a size beyond your actual size is my best advice!!!
