(and the carpenter 5 pocket long pants) are the ONLY shorts my husband wears, because of the side vertical pocket where he can keep secure his mini iphone12, due to his rough type of job, in the other pockets the cellphone slides out. I will suggest Wrangler to make this same pocket bigger for a regular iphone 12/14 which is is the most universal size of cellphone. Thanks.

Sang its praises in review i gave for other 2 (diff. Sized). All arrived timely, in same envelope, which was PROPERLY cost effective to me. I noticed, as orders from another place have been sloughed on re packaging resulting in broken, missing parts! It was cool to have these 3 shorts APPROPRIATELY wrapped and sent so fast and in great condition. Thanks!

We received one pair of size 38. They are too large. We would like to exchange them, but the tags are gone and they have been washed. We have looked all summer for these shorts. Thank you so much.

My expectation was that these shorts would be good, but not necessarily perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the shots fit, finish, and overall quality. Even my wife, who doesn't like me wearing denim shorts, likes the look and quality of these.

Well, I just got these about a week ago. I tried them on and they fir great. But the weather got cold and I haven't been able to wear them yet. I wish they were an inch or 2 longer, but they will be a good replacement for shorts of the same color that are too big for me now.

These shorts are very comfortable. I am a carpenter so I like the fact that they have a hammer loop. There is one thing that needs to be improved and that is the side utility pockets. They are both not deep enough. I always carry a utility knife in my shorts along with a pencil. The pockets are not deep enough to hold these things so they keep falling out. The smaller pocket would be ok if it wasn't slanted down so steep. Other than these things the shorts are great. I will wear them for non work purposes but the pockets are a big issue for what I bought them for.

I like the design, fit and look and owned many pairs of the Wrangler Denim Carpenter Shorts, every pair has the same problems. The back pockets and belt loops fabric tears where their attached to the shorts, on every pair I owned. None have worn out, all were discarded because of being torn. The quality certainly could be better.

I didn't think I was buying seconds but the hems are different lengths and the crotch does not line up with the butt seam. Wrangler has really gone down hill.

I've bought these carpenter shorts twice before and liked them alot, so I thought I was safe ordering them again. I was wrong. The ones I got today are shorter (do not hit the knee), do not have the 10" inseam the ad claims, the utility pockets are shallower, and the material is flimsy. The picture on the page I ordered from shows the old style I received in the past. The page claims 10" inseam. The shorts I received have 9" or 9-1/2" inseam. The shorts shown and described that I ordered are not what I received.
