Does exactly what it's meant to do. It's snappy (in a good way) and sits right up along the pneumatic closer. I was way overdue for a replacement and am happy with the result. Note: if installing for the first time, watch a how to video, because the instructions are a bit tricky, in my opinion, with the placement of certain parts.

Easy to install seems to work well

These things used to be included when you purchased a storm door but the CEO needed a new summer home, but I digress. Decent product clear though tiny instructions. Reasonably priced for something that should have been included in the first place. Yeah corporations are people my butt!

Old school wind stopper. I installed it on a customers golf cart garage door. I was able to find the perfect place to get the door to open up with some tension in the spring and the door stop at the bottom down holds the door from swinging open and pulls the spring tight keeping it from slamming shut or flying back against the jamb anymore. The customer was very pleased and I was told that I was able to make what more than a couple of people who looked at the doors functional and simple. I have been blessed with my skills, knowledge and experience with the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ. In his name all things can be accomplished. The product was in stock at my local store and inexpensive considering without it the door was surely going to be ripped off the jamb during a wind event. All hardware is included and the instructions are easy to follow.

Great quality! Easy installation instructions; had it installed within 15 minutes. Does exactly what it's intended to do. Pretty darn happy, can't complain at all.

This will be the 3rd one of these contraptions that I've bought over the last 5 years or so. They are not very expensive, and they work well up to a point, but eventually my experience is that the smaller spring snaps, or the chain that connects the large spring to the door jamb gives out, and I have to replace the whole set instead of just the parts that break. My driveway is like a wind tunnel sometimes, so there can definitely be a lot of force on my outer door. I wish the chain and small spring were either a little stronger, or easier to replace. But since these things are pretty cheap, I end up just buying a whole new set.

This product is a must on all storm doors that are in an open environment where wind can grab the door at any moment. While the instructions are thorough, there are a few details that one needs to tweak depending on your individual door; ie. closer location. I would recommend this product.

Works great. Instructions could have been clearer. I had trouble figuring out how to attach the little spring. Also, it took a while to figure out the best attachment points to minimize interference with my door closer (but that's not a fault of the product).

Great chain. Installation was easy except for hooking the chain to the nail. Could make this step easier. It's the only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating. Instructions were easy to follow. Everything needed except tools are included. Price was good also.
