Compact and Mighty

Ncastaneda September 5, 2015

This iHealth wireless blood pressure monitor came very neat, secured, and in a very cool box. When I opened it, I was very impressed in the size and convenience this little machine would be. The first thing you need to do is download the app. for it, either at the google store, evennote, or smartphone. Then take the usb cable and charge the digital part you see on top of the blood pressure cuff. The cuff has arrows showing you what direction to put the cuff. Red for upper part of the arm and blue for lower. When you open the cuff to apply to arm, on the inside it also has instructions on things to do such as, be still, what position to hold your arm etc. This is the perfect little machine for anyone to keep tabs or randomly monitor their blood pressure. The application for this will also receive your results and keep record so that you may share with your doctor or family if you want. Such innovative technology. Love it.

The best blood pressure monitor that I have found.

rgoodpa1 September 9, 2015

*It is battery powered and you recharge it every couple of weeks from your computer's USB port or directly from your Apple USB Power Pack * Good testing functionality with continuous visual readout of your heartbeat and blood pressure variation * Data storage for at least 1,000 readings including heartbeat trace, and user adjustable for more. * Immediate evaluation and color-coded classification of your results relative to standard guidelines * Graphical display of your test results for comparison over time. * Ability to export your results as data or graphic (by screenshot) by email to your doctor or others as you may wish. * Ability to add prior data manually to provide a complete long-term record. In summary, easy to use, good visual readouts, full data storage, intelligent use of iPhone / iPad capabilities.

The BP Monitor / Reader Works GREAT!

restlessd September 14, 2015

I received this iHealth Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor from Spark Reviewer and I love it! I do have hypertension and I do have to keep track of my levels. What an easy way to do this by having the readings transferred directly to my smart phone? Once the readings have been taken I can easily send the results to myself via email or share my readings on Facebook or Twitter (although I probably wouldn't do that.) The iHome App is simple to use. It can be used with other iHome products as well. There are 3 screens to read the findings, the measurement screen, the list screen and the trends screen. The measurement screen is where you take your BP. The list screen is where there is a list of the times you have taken your BP, and the trends screen shows you a graph of your various BP readings. (See photo). The product is nicely made with sturdy material and a lovely carrying case. It fits snugly and from all indications, the BP readings seem to be accurate. I will definitely keep using this and I will recommend this product family and/or friends who may need to use a BP monitor.

The greatest yet. for blood presser

Wrchurch September 15, 2015

This year I have been making an effort to become a healthier person. I like using gadgets such as fitness trackers and fitness scales to monitor my progress. The iHealth Blood Pressure Monitor is yet another tool that is a great asset and tool in my quest for health. The iHealth Blood Pressure Monitor comes with a carrying case that makes it convenient to store and take along. The iHealth Blood Pressure Monitor has an accompanying app that allows me to store the blood pressure readings on my smartphone so I can monitor my blood pressure over time. The blood pressure monitor uses Bluetooth technology to transfer the data from the monitor to my smartphone. The instructions included with the product were easy to understand and I had no problem linking the monitor to my smartphone. Using the monitor was just as simple. I just placed the cuff on my arm using the helpful arrows on the cuff and pressed the start button on the app to start it. I already have the iHealth Wireless Scale and this iHealth Blood Pressure Monitor is a great companion product. The weight data and the blood pressure data are both stored in the same app, which makes it even easier to monitor my statistics. As an added bonus, the data can be exported to Excel or PDF file that I can email or take with me to my doctor's office. This is easy to use and helpful product.

User Friendly Blood Pressure Monitor

Sldj September 14, 2015

I have been trying out the iHealth blood pressure monitor for a couple of weeks now and my husband and I really like it a lot. You have to have an android or iPhone compatible smart phone in order to operate the devise and see your results, so this would not be a good product to purchase if you do not have a compatible smart phone. The AP associated with the blood pressure monitor was easy to download and straightforward to use. You can set up multiple user accounts to track individual results or you can just sign in as a guest for non tracked results. The cuff must be charged on a regular basis as it is wireless and does not operate on batteries. I find the monitor to be fairly accurate. We tested is against out other home blood pressure monitor and it regularly came close in the readings. The AP allows you to track your results and send them to anyone you want. I also like the results screen which shows you if your blood pressure is in a good, moderate or high range with simple color coded ranges on the side of the results screen. Overall, I would definitely recommend this blood pressure monitor.

“To Your Health”

songoflove September 4, 2015

iHealth Lab Wireless Arm Blood Pressure Monitor I remember when most households kept a thermometer handy to measure temperature, today we have devices like the iHealth Lab Wireless Arm Blood Pressure Monitor; you have to download the iHealth app from google play or apple store. You can monitor your blood pressure by using the iHealth mobile app it also allows you to track your heart rate, as well as your pulse wave and measurement time. In my opinion every household should have on hand even If you are healthy. Today's household medicine cabinets should consist of today's devices such as this monitor. It is easy to setup I took it right out of the box and had it going within 5mins this is a perfect health device. I am looking into a selection of items to give as a gift of health to family, friends and love ones this monitor fits the list of items to give. “To Your Health” is what I'd title it. It comes with a grey storage bag with an orange bright zipper the bag is small enough to put into your purse, gym bag, medicine bin, etc. I'm thinking of having a family health day! Take each family member blood pressure, record findings, serve up some fruits and veggies a good way to get focus on health with your love ones while spending time together.

ACCURATE WIRELESS BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR

doggies8 September 26, 2015

The iHealth Wireless Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is an excellent blood pressure monitor - it is easy to use and is accurate plus it keeps a record of each test. The monitor comes with a charging cord which charges off of your computer port or use a wall charging port. It has a nice carrying case which is very handy for storage of the unit and ease of taking with you on trips. The instructions are easy to follow in a detailed manual which comes with the monitor. This moniter links to your cell phone or I-Pad. I have an I-Phone, so I downloaded the app from the Apple App Store. You can also use this with an android phone by simply downloading the android app onto your android cell phone. I could not get this to work with my Apple laptop .. I could not get it to connect via Bluetooth; so it either does not work with laptops or I'm doing something wrong. Once I had the app downloaded and connected with my cell phone via Bluetooth, I just put the sleeve on, pushed the on button, and the process begins. It stores everything on your cell phone, which is great for taking with you to a doctor's appointment so your blood pressure history can be easily viewed by your doctor. Since I frequently have high BP at the doctor's office, the doctor can view my history showing a normal trend. There are other features you can hook up with via Bluetooth, but I have not tried them yet. I am very comfortable with this unit.

Nice alternative to traditional BP machines

Floralski07 September 17, 2015

I like this BP machine in that it is really compact. Out of the box, it comes with a carrier case with some instruction material, and a USB cable. It does not have any awkward lines to pump air in for it to work. And it does not need any professional education to operate. All you need is an i-device (iPhone, all types of ipad, ipod touch, etc.) to use it. It says it is also compatible with some Android devices, but without trying them out, I can testify for that. Functional-wise, it is pretty easy to use. Of course, like other products made by the same manufacturer, one would need to download the App first. From that point, everything else is pretty straight forward. You need to put it securely on to your long arm, find it from your app, and it is ready to go. The readings are pretty close to what I would expect from my normal readings from a doctor's visit. Overall, I am pretty happy with this product and can see myself using it for a long time whenever I am uncertain of my BP.

Great Idea But....

varpone September 3, 2015

Having had blood pressure issues for sometime I was very interested in the iHealth Wireless Blood Pressure Monitor that will not only record your readings but allow you to transmit the data to your doctor or anyone else you would choose. It is nicely packaged with a charger and its own carry pouch. However, once you have the required app installed from the Google Play store you come to an unpleasant reality. To use the device you must subscribe to a service which is not mentioned anywhere else. I am not sure how much the service cost but the message received states the subscription runs $120 AU (Australian dollars) per year. In addition you must have an iPOD, iPhone, iPad or a suitable android device to operate it. These little unmentioned requirements create a bad taste for the companies employing them. Too bad. A great idea...but... If you have the required devices and don't mind paying for the subscription you might find this a really useful monitor.
