Got this as gift for relative who makes their own greeting cards. They had one for many years but it finally bit the dust after much use. This one looks like the one it will be replacing. Wife said buy this little 3 inch metal die cutter thing because the price was better than any other seller on Walmart and Amazon. Reviews of this seller for this item were mixed but the more recent ones were positive, so, took a chance. It arrived 2 weeks before due date. Seller was very kind and thoughtful for fast shipping. Great seller. The item arrived and the wife tested it out before gift giving. Not only is this little metal paper cutter thing new, never used, it came with many extras. All works flawlessly. Comes with colored paper, metal die cuts, embossing folders. It also came with a well written instruction "how to" manual. It comes with bottom feet you can change out with a tool, in a simple way, to put suction cups on the bottom of this crank metal die cutting machine. Also came with 3 clear plastic "cutting plates"; one thick one and two same size thinner ones. Wife said use the two identical thin clear cutting plates with the embossing folders that came with this. To use metal die cuts to cut stuff out in paper, you put the only one thickest clear plastic rectangle cutting plate on the bottom, nxt put your piece of paper on, next you add the metal die cutting piece face down on the colored paper so the cutting edges cut down on the paper. The next step is to place one of the two clear thinner plastic rectangle cutting plates on top. Line it all up, set it into the manual crank machine thing, and crank the handle while gently guiding the clear plastic plates into the crank machine until it takes and feeds on its own. Video platforms can also show you how to use these. Make sure the correct side of the metal die cutting pieces are facing down onto the colored paper, not backwards to cut into the clear plastic cutting plate on top of it....wife said you might sometimes need washi tape to hold the metal die cut piece in place. Try carefully turning over the paper with the metal die cut stuck into it if the first run through the machine did not fully cut out all detailed pieces. Run it through again that way. If you still need more detail cut out of paper, run it through again with a piece of paper on top of the cutting plates. It's an easy "shim" to give slightly more pressing power over the area not fully cutting. Put washi tape and paper over the specific area not fully cutting if needed. This specific mini three inch die cutting machine is manual, not electric. You hand crank it. This product works great! Seller was awesome! This travels so easy. The person getting it will easily take it to her group card making friends. Can fit in larger purse or tote bag, easily. Very lightweight but solid machine.

Though the stamp was missing from the set, the diecut machine works beautifully! Small, light weight, handy little gadget! Seller responded quickly to my email about missing stamp. An additional machine was mistakenly sent to me. They said keep it! I would buy again, great price!

It worked really good at first. But by the time 3 months came it started having problems not pressing the dies in the middle, kept trying to use it it just got worse.

was nice machine if have hand problems or strength issues hard to turn handle but quality was good

I put the plates on with the piece of paper and the embossing plate band nothing I did would let the thing go through the machine. Ughhh. It's going back today!!!!!
