I like this model mainly because it is a one amp trickle charger. There is no possibility of overcharging. the cord could be a little longer. However, it suits my needs. I am using this for my rv's battery during the winter.
For the money, they do a great job work great on the lawnmower battery. It wasn't keeping charge every couple times you used it. You had to charge it so I just put that on there and it works great. Recommend it highly.
Works great, i bought 6 of these and they all tested good on charge voltage all my batteries are staying topped off and they are cheaper in price than even the harbor freight chargers
Very easy to use. I just started using them and cord feels a little light weight. Hopefully they don't over heat but so far so good. If they hold up until next camping season I will happy. Great buy for the price
Good product. Easy to use. Very inexpensive. Only took 2 days. Easy to hookup. Easy to read instructions. Used on boat battery's. One regular and one deep cycle.
i really like it, especially the light turns green when it's fully charged and red when it needs more charging. a nice feature. wires a bit small, you just need to be careful. great item and i even have a spare!
Good value, very affordable. Works fine for me for maintaining some sealed lead-acid batteries. Not particularly durable, but that's about what I expected for the low price. There is almost no documentation. Indicator light flickers between green and red, and it doesn't really explain what that means. I was concerned it wasn't working or cell was damaged, but checking voltage with multimeter confirms batteries are charged after a few days.
The wiring could be a bit more stout which would make connections more sturdy. One must be wary to not tug on unit's parts. Other than that, the maintainer does its job and I am satisfied.
obviously getting two products for this price is pretty good. however, while I can confirm that there is at least 13.8 volts going to a 12-volt battery, I do have concerns. like everybody else says, the AC plug part of the cord is definitely too short. The main problem is with the clamps and the wires. The gauge of these wires is smaller than that, which you would use with a set of aftermarket speakers. they're pretty much just red and black bread ties okay. maybe three times the thickness of a length of floss. The clamps are very cheap. while they will hold on to a terminal post, they don't hold very well to a side mount bolt. they also wobbled as if the teeth or each side of the clamp doesn't clasp evenly. The indicator light is another issue. because there are no instructions and even artificial intelligence lumps all of these chargers into the same result because they are all the same, just with a different manufacturer's name or fake brand name and put on them, I'll try to explain my experience with the LED. Red means charging. Red means error. Green should mean fully charged. or blink green until it's charged. however, once you hit the 13.8 volt wall, it will rapidly alternate and flash between red and green. I tested this theory with the second unit that came in this twin pack on a separate 12 volt battery. And while it does seem to work, the reduction in stars is because it's just really super vague. The quality of the wiring is subpar. having said all of this, I believe the product works but the longevity of it, that's really up for debate. If you've got a vehicle, you drive every once in awhile and it's going through extreme hot or cold while sitting, this isn't a bad idea to keep just taped near your battery. That's one convenient thing about it. And of course if it breaks, it's not expensive. And it's a lot easier than putting a full size battery tender under your hood. So if you get this, it works, and just keep in mind that while charging, red means charging and alternating green and red light flashes means it's constantly charging and not charging in an effort to go into maintenance or float mode.
The cord was very short, the total length was 9” was expecting something a little longer,I do not recommend this trickle charger
